Just the right amount of illumination!
What great little lights!They came with a full charge so we could test them right away. Easy to assemble (if you can plug a lamp into a wall socket, you’ve got this!), and easy to mount to balcony rails with two provided screws each, these small-yet-powerful solar lights put out just the right amount of Illumination. Nice ‘mood’ lighting without being obnoxiously bright… for those of us who prefer ‘dark skys’. As an added bonus, they perfectly match my homes wall sconce lights!I ordered another set for the rear deck!

Largest solar cells I could find but still need full sun to recharge
PRO: Largest Solar Cell panel of all I could find. This helps charge faster and/or in lesser lightPRO: Largest battery of all I could find. Will illuminate longer – IFF it gets fully charged by solar cellPRO: Bright enough for brown environment when fully charged in direct sun.NOTE: Full sun pictures are pre-charge direct sun facing – importantly – before installation.The installation is entrance landing, steps down to lower floor, to landing, to deck.This side of the house gets minimal full sun and the steps down are to the North further minimizing sun.CON: Not bright enough to be useful when installed on the shaded steps – even after a full non overcast day.3 of the 4 pictures have a mix of just installed (so fully charged in sun) and yesterdays (so full day of shade).Note the camera adapts some – so the steps look brighter than they were.But it is a good example of how bright the lights are IFF they can get a good charge. I was hopeful.Note in particular the single light picture. That is a shaded side single light an hour or two after dark. Note you can just barely the light itself. This is the same light that is in lower right of the full landing picture included – with some camera adaptation to light you can barely see the shade-charged ones and in particular how that one doesn’t illuminate anything.Summary: These are great but ONLY IF you can install them so they get full sun. Not shade. Absolutely full sun for a good part of the day. In particular don’t use for safety/steps unless you can do that.I did think these were the best I could find that weren’t wired.Recommendation if shaded install (including say steps facing away or shallower angle) is to go straight to a wired installation.

Can’t say enough good things about these lights!
Have about 20 on the top of my patio fence — they have gone through two or three winters and hot summers, and I’ve only just replaced one of them. I did not screw them in, just used heavy duty two sided, sticky foam tape to adhere to top of fence, and they’ve survived heat and water. Very pretty at night — delineate the patio boundaries in the dark, and make things just look more festive. Can’t beat the price! Great value for money.

Great lights and excellent customer support
I purchased a set of 6 as a a gift for my fiance, we loved them so much I immediately purchased another set. Sadly one light from the first set only lasted a week or so. I emailed to company and got an immediate reply. I was hoping they could send me a replacement because we really wanted the full 12. They actually gave me a couple options but in the end the credited me enough back to purchase their new 2-pack! All the other lights have been working great. I took the advice of some others and purchased the indoor/outdoor double stick Gorilla tape because we wanted to put them on some spots where screwing in wasn’t ideal. The tape has worked great. The lights (and tape) even survived a major storm that knocked out our power for several days! The lights are quite beautiful. I love the cycling colors but my fiance likes the solid white (the cycling colors can get a bit dark at time, what we ended up doing is having alternating lights stay on solid white, while the other cycle. It gives us the beautiful colors while the white light provide some steady light.

Works Great!
We put these around our patio to replace some dead string lights! The colors are fantastic and it’s a bright LED. The only feature I wish it had was the ability to set individual colors, not just color change or solid white. Other than that, they are easy to install and very bright.

Decoration, not illumination
Overall I like these lights. Don’t do what I did – screw them to the deck and expect them to work.No – there is a switch with off, white, and color settings. The switch is not accessible once the lights are installed. I had to unscrew them all from the deck rail, select the correct setting, and re-install them. My bad.They are not very bright. I wasn’t expecting them to be dazzling but the lights they replaced were brighter. They do look nice, though. Very stylish.Update: I timed how long they illuminate for. It’s an hour or so. So they are not “super bright” and they don’t last for hours. There’s some seriously misleading advertising going on here. Some people might even call it outright lies.

*Update* some of these lights have already stopped working. well they are not very bright. my fault for not checking. very hard to set up. and if you chose white light you are stuck with the white light. you can not change to multi colors for a party or anything else. you have to bring out the drill remove it and switch the button for different color. stuck with them now. my bad for not reading reviews or researching product. hope this helps someone else.

Lights add to the ambience a warm and inviting feel
My husband and I have been working hard to create an inviting backyard space. This pandemic has us realizing our outdoor space will be a perfect place to spend our New England fall season with friends and family near the fire pit.We purchased a string of lights but struggled to attach the lights to our PVC fence. We didn’t want to put holes in the fence and didn’t like the traditional lights we have seen at our local hardware store.After hours of searching, we came across these solar powered lights. We also read another review which mentioned using double sided tape to attach the lights. Realizing the lights could be attached with the tape and powered by the sun made this the perfect purchase for us.The lights are small and rectangular! We put them up above the string of lights to complete a comparison. You can see how bright the lights are compared to the traditional outdoor lights in the photo. They give off the same amount of brightness as a single bulb. The best part is the lights can be placed anywhere since they are solar powered and not attached with a wire. I placed the three extra lights on our deck stairs. They add another level of safety we have come to enjoy.These lights are perfect to add a warm feeling to your late nights. They were ready to install moments after taking them out of the box, a five year can do it.They only part I don’t like is the colored feature doesn’t allow you to chose one color at a time. We were hoping to use them during each holiday season to add to the holiday festivities but couldn’t figure out away to synchronize the colors and isolate to one color at a time. Overall, we are happy with our purchase and can’t wait to surprise our friends with the updates look.

They don’t put out much light
Easy to install, but they don’t put out much light. And if you have a cloudy day, they don’t recharge for that night. I bought 2 boxes (12 total) but sending one box back because they are so dim that they don’t illuminate much at all.

Easy to install and look nice, but…..
I purchased three boxes (18) to put around around my fence line and the look great. They were easy to install and the solar panel seems to be adequate. Not these are two piece design that snap together, so I shall see hold them hold up over time. Only issue I had is they do not put out a lot of light, but then I am using them only for accent lighting so not a real issue for me, but buyer beware for those that are using these for stair or step lighting. Cheers!

These look great on my vinyl fence. They last throughout the night, provide a descent amount of light, and look great. I haven’t used color yet, but plan to for Christmas. I just used 3m double sided tape to put them in place, and they are holding well.

Light lasts about 4 hours after sundown
I live in Miami – these lights are getting PLENTY and FULL sun and they only stay lit for about 4 hours after sundown. I mean if the light lasted, they’d be fine but it is essentially like NOT hvaing lights unless your party ends at 9:30pm. Buy something else – I wish I had.

Love the glow
I love the look and the glow of these lights. It gives the deck and sophisticated look. The color options are great eventhough I perfer the white. The off button is great to have as sometimes I like the lights off for star gazing. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is because its inconvenient to pull the clear piece out to turn off or to change the color option. It would be better if the switch was on the outside.

Great Solar Lights for Pool Cage
Nice solar lighting option. We were looking for pool cage lighting, these just rest on the cross bar without drilling into the aluminum frame. For lights closest to the doors we used removable double sided adhesive tape to secure in place. They offer soft ambient lighting and stay on 6 hours after dusk. Perfect for what we were looking for.

BRIGHTNESSI was disappointed with the brightness. It is just barely bright enough to be able to see the ground. I would have loved these if they were about 5 times brighter. I should have description a little closer. My plan was to light up the yard for my kids to play and enjoy the backyard and serve as greater security, but these are not for that.QUALITYThe quality is decent. The attaching hardware should be better.Switching ColorsThe way these lights attached puts pressure on the clear piece and causes it he casing bend. It is a stronger installation, but difficult to change settings. I did not test the color settings for this reason.AestheticsI placed them 6 feet apart and they look very nice and light path. It creates a nice ambiance, but if you want to light your yard they don’t really work.

Great at first, stops lighting up 6 months in
Loved these the first few months – easy to install and provided just the right light and brightness to our apartment balcony. Bought in May and by November, half were no longer lighting up and by December, the other half went. I live in Southern California for those who think it’s just been a dark winter season – we’ve had no shortage of sun. Would not recommend for long-term use.

These deck lights are terrific
Based upon the reviews out here I bought these deck lights. Very happy with them. They are tasteful, warm, (I use the warm white not the changing colors) and my wife approves their look and feel.I did decide to use my own wood screws vs the ones that came with it, but that’s a personal choice. It’s been about three weeks; so far so good.

They are so pretty at night. I wish I had set them up in the summer when you get the most sun. I have just recently put them up in November where it has not been that much sun. I am hoping that is why the lights are not staying on as long as I expected. It appeared that the lights goes out around midnight. I was expecting dust to dawn.

Lanai lights
Purchase two sets of six and was easy to secure on lanai with two sided alien tape. After three days, 10 of 12 work great and 2 don’t seem to maintain a brightness like the others. I’ve switched those two to the alternating colors to see if it’s just the white light or the device itself. I did purchase and switch out the AA battery (per instructions) for the two and still no improvement. After tonight’s review of the alternating lights; I’ll write asking for replacements for those two. Overall, a good product that I would purchase again.Update: contacted seller and they replaced the two and were great about the process. Changed rating to 5 star ⭐️ based on customer support on top of product.

Got two packs of these for the backyard, and am contemplating more. Although the color change mode is pretty, it isn’t very bright. So I made the decision to set a few of the lights to white in strategic places for extra light. If your space is sizeable, plan on at least 24 for decent illumination.

The beast solar deck pool lights ever!
These are unbelievable. I have had (1) set mounted on our pool deck and railings .one year later they are still burning bright and stay on for the longest time !almost 7. Hours nightly. We get a fair fair amount of daily sun or bright days. These solar lights even burn bright during the winter (we have six plus months of winter yearly . I’m a retired electrician and I never really relied or used solar that much, but with these lights I don’t have to install any low voltage power supply or wiring . These are great light fixtures for their intended purpose decks railing steps . Awesome!

Nice, but one of the six lights is already not working after 3 months
It’s nice to have either all white or color changing options.As I stated in the title, one of these is already not functioning afteronly three months.

Looks great but screws rot
Looks great but screws rot. They will eventually fall off
