Love these landscape lights!
I bought these landscape lights because they could be operated via Alexa! Plus, I thought having the capability of having color lights would be very cool – especially for the holidays! I think they are very well constructed. My only concern is that the steak that they use to push in the ground are made all plastic! – which is why I only give it four stars – It might be better if they were made of metal! I’ve had mine for about 7 months now and so far they are still holding up! I was worried that grounds keeping crew would damage or break one of the plastic steaks that attach to the bottom of these lights!Update: I see that now that they offer a updated version of this product with aluminum ground stakes! I would definitely recommend the upgraded version – just for peace of mind!Their tech support is top notch and I have contacted them a couple of times when I was having an issue. The tech support is all via email and they seem pretty responsive and very helpful!The app for these Landscape Lights works well whenever I want to mix it up and change colors or show some on the capabilities of these lights! However, the day-to-day activities I have scheduled in a routine which is all controlled via Alexa! I have a scheduled routine in Alexa that will automatically turn these lights on at sunset and off at sunrise! I also have an automated routine that will temporarily brighten them to 100% at the same time it brightens my porch light and then automatically set the both of them back to 50%! These lights are very bright so if you need bright lights from time to time these should work for you nicely!

Does the job
Overall I’m pretty pleased. Setup and placing them in the ground took about 40min. My pictures I think make the light appear brighter and more scattered than reality; however, I wouldn’t call the lights dim either. It’s the perfect amount of light to light up a walkway. I am a bit disappointed, or rather, would like to have had the option for each light to be their own color. Though the colors can change, all lights change together. I also wish there were 1-2 more lights given the price, or the ability to add more lights. The design of the lights is great, but the quality of the material feels cheap, and the lights don’t fully rotate as indicated, consistently. The app is solid and works pretty well. About one week of ownership the timer feature has remained accurate and it’s survived a solid rainstorm. They’re absolutely better than any solar powered lighting I’ve tried.

Fun lights, bit of issues but good customer service
Original:These are fun lights. Not too hard to install and set up. The app lets you program different schedules for turning the lights on and off, and at whatever color and brightness you want. I had fun matching colors to holidays. Unfortunately, mine lasted 6 months, and now I can’t get them to turn on for more than a brief flash of one of the four lights.Update 05/2023:They contacted me and offered a no-cost replacement set, which arrived today. I have to find a little time to install it, but I have upped my 2 stars to 3 for now, as it’s still annoying to have a product break, and these take some effort to install, twice, haha. Will come back after the new set is up and running, and as I get some solid lifespan out of them, hopefully. Appreciate the customer service so far. Here’s hoping this set will last.Update Update 08/2023: So far, the new set is holding up. And the manufacturer made sure to ask me if they were working properly. Good customer service ensuring they have fixed the issue!

2 broken wires right out of the box
Bright and so easy to assemble. I am now waiting for a response from the company to replace 2 of the broken wires. I had no choice but to use the wires since I was working. These lights are great
Ordered a 4 pack and the box was missing the 35 watt power adaptor. In the meantime went ahead and purchased a 100 watt adaptor to see how the lights looked. Contacted support and let them know that the 35 watt adaptor was missing from the original order. Support was professional, helpful and responsive and resolved my issue quickly. Will order more. The product design and product quality were very good. Thanks for your help

Great lights and customer service
These lights are really great and look amazing on our walkway. I wish the app was a little better, to set multiple sets the same custom color, but we have still really enjoyed the accent to the house. The customer service is also fantastic. I had an issue with one light and they sent me two more immediately – one to replace the bad light and a spare in case another has issue. I have had my lights for a year and very happy with them – worth the money!

Doesn’t work with 5G
the fact that most networks went to 5G now makes this product about as useful as a rotary phone. They need to state in the first line that this product only works on 2.5G so the rest of us don’t waste our money. Can’t get it to connect to the app cause we now have 5G and now that the local UPS doesn’t take amazon returns anymore so I have to drive a 2 hr round trip to return it with will cost $$ in gas. So you either slow down your wifi every time you want to change the lights colors if you can get it to connect or just bypass these lights and find something that is more up to date for 5G.Update – I did get a full refund so I updated the rating. I would give it a 5 star for customer support but I’ll give it a four star for now until they develop a controller that you can set to either 5G or 2.5G wifi. I loved the lights for the ability to rotate the individual heads to shine either onto the sidewalk and also onto the house and change colors for the holidays. I’m hoping they will eventually develop a controller for 5G or a choice to buy a separator controller that’s 5G compatible. When they do that I will give it a 5 star.

Great lights and Great support/customer service
We had bought 3 sets of landscape lights and a 100W controller back a couple months ago. Needless to say this was a great purchase; They were easy to install and made our backyard look like a Luxury resort. There are so many color options possible. Everything looked great. I even had it set up with Google home and Google assistant.Fast forward last week, I had to change my Wi-Fi router and therefore had to reconnect the lights to my phone again. Impossible to reset and reconnect. Tried every way possible without success; the lights just did not turn back on again. I then emailed support to see what happened, with little hope that someone would get back to me.Damn was I wrong; within 12h Miya contacted me back and offered to replace the 100W controller!!! Now that is what I call customer service support. 2 days later I had a brand new controller delivered. The set up was a breeze and the lights work again beautifully.I just wish more sellers would take example; I would recommend them anyday if you are looking for some beautiful landscape lights at a great price, knowing that customer service is behind.

Beautiful finishing touches. Order the splitter cable for multiple sets.
The media could not be loaded.
They were easy to install. Biggest part of labor was hiding the cables underground. They’re plug n play after they’re installed. Bluetooth them to the app and you’re all set. It allows several users and devices on the app with one log in. They’re dimmable, have adjustable angles on the lights, up and down and SO many color features, both preloaded and adjustable color wheel. If you’re playing music they will change to the beat if you enable the music button in the app.Order the splitter cable if it’s going around both sides of the yard equally. It’s under 15 bucks, I believe. Also, if you have a light like the one by our spa in my video, get the 13ft(or longer?) extension cable to reach a farther distance. These went around our pool so it was necessary to split them at the power source and the spa is a little further away so we also bought the extension cable to reach up there. You only need 1 power (little black box) source plugged in to make 8 work, and possibly more but that’s all we needed in the pool area.We’ll be buying more of these for the front yard when it is finished. So far, no complaints, they’re beautiful, modern and they definitely “WOW” our guests when we have our (frequent) night parties. I recommend these to liven up your outdoor spaces.

Beautiful lights, a little tricky to install cleanly
I love these lights, they really bring the front yard to the next level! We use the multi color functionality to decorate for holidays (see red photo for halloween) and the app is super easy to use. I have them hooked up to my google assistant so they come on automatically at sundown!Pros:- Very bright, lights up the whole house- Color changes are simple and are true to color- Google connectivity is easy and extremely useful- Positionable heads allow for lighting of the background and pathwayCons:- Lights can only be one color per strand, instead of multiple colors like red-green-red-green. Not a huge issue, but definitely an inconvenience if you want a specific look- the wires are pretty difficult to hide without digging into the garden a significant amount. If you are lighting a small path, you will have a ton of excess wire that needs to be hidden- Since it plugs into a standard outlet or extension cord, your options might be limited as there is not a hardwire solution.

They appear great quality but didn’t last long
Update, very nice and loved them so much that I bought a second set. One is now completely dead and nonresponsive and the second set works only half the time and I’ve only had them a few months.I decided to give these a try because I dont get enough sun in the back for solar lights. They came well packaged and I didn’t even bother to look at the instructions. The top lights snap right into the main poles and the poles into the ground stakes. The wires fit threw the holes on the stakes, plug right into the connection wires and secured with a screw on cap. I flipped them on immediately in the late afternoon and wasn’t impressed, but when it got darker, I was pleasantly surprised by how bright they were. It was easy to download and sync them to the app and the color changing options are pretty neat. The only thing I don’t like is the range for using the app. You have to be standing right next to them to use the app and the lights are a little slow to respond to color changes. I at 1st thought they were broken, because it took forever to go from colored lights back to white.

Really goo quality, simple to install, don’t have to use the app
These are made of metal, not plastic so they have a very quality feel to them. The connectors are solid and make installation very easy compared to typical low voltage systems. To make them even more durable, I wiped them down with some automotive ceramic coating after installation to hopefully ward off color fade.A question I had that was never answered and forced me to take a gamble was; if I do not want to use the app, how do these lights respond? The answer from the company as well as review videos online all seemed to indicate that you needed wifi to use them and that you’d need the app to set them up.If you chose to use them as dumb lights, they will work. I wanted to run them from a mechanical timer, simple off and on, just the warm white color, nothing fancy. When you plug them in, or turn them on with a mechanical timer, they light up warm white and blink for about a minute and a half then turn solid. I call this dummy mode, super easy. So I set my timer to turn them on a little early so they don’t blink in the dark.I really like how they look, which was why I went with them even though the dummy mode wasn’t clear in any of the reviews.I would buy again.

One set dead
Bought a set, worked well. Bought another set, worked 2 weeks then the transformer died. Returned for a replacement and so far both are working. Been about 3 weeks now and I’m keeping the box just in case. Would have given it 5 stars had I didn’t have a issue.

I like them
The lights look great. I had an issue getting them to stay paired to the power supply(controller). Was pairing through WiFi. I bought a new one off of Amazon and sent an email to support. The new one seems to be staying connected and they refunded me for having to buy the new one. It adds some nice character to the patio, especially being able to change the colors. Using the Amazon echo is a nice bonus too.

WiFi Signal is Important or it will be Difficult
Love the way the pathway lights look. They provide the right amount of lighting for the sidewalk. Unfortunately trying to hook them up with a weak wifi signal is horrendous. I’m in a brick house and the signal outside varies on the day. I got it hooked up once after a couple of days of effort but came back from vacation and they had stopped working. Have tried for two weeks to get the connected again without any luck. They will illuminate at night without the App, but they have this annoying flashing that continues for about a minute before they stop flashing. If you do not have a strong outside wifi signal I would avoid the aggravation and inconvenience of this product. Due to the wifi issue, I would not buy any of the products that use this App from this company.

I love these landscape lights. They are bright, colorful, and very affordable. The app that controls the lights is easy to use and gives you many options for controlling the colors and setting automatic timers to turn them on and off. At night the lights look amazing.Pros: Look Great, easy setup, affordableCons: NoneNOTE: I had a faulty light. I bought two sets of 4, and one of the heads showed the wrong color. I emailed customer service and on the same day, they shipped me a replacement after we checked all the connections. You cannot ask for more!FINAL COMMENT: I just bought more from the same company. Lights are great, but you cant have 5G,
Update to original review of a 1 star… when first installed, they were great. Did spend many hours researching landscape lights that had all these features and was happy found them. So great to create themes and have a timer. Plus very rugged. However, we upgraded our internet and they no longer work. Very disappointed, hope in future can buy more when 5G support, as itsnhard yo find lights like this. Will have to also thank seller for reaching out and offering a refund, great customer service Previous review…. Have had these for 10 months, we upgraded our internet to 5G, to get better connection and speed, and these did not work after upgrade. Discovered they only work on old technology.Dont waste your money. There are instructions if u want to downgrade, but why would i do that if I upgraded to 5G ? Perhaps this company should look into upgrading their product. With internet getting faster, these lights will be obsolete soon.

Worked Great till Lights went out
Although the units are simple to install, and work well.. I purchased 4 units… I have 4 lights out in total so 25% of the purchase. They are less then 8 months old…. I CAN NOT get the manufacture to respond through Amazon, emails, phone calls. So although you can buy the product, the 2 year warranty they offer really is irrelevant if you have a problem. It is unfortunate as the quality isn’t bad for the price, but if the lights don’t work…. it’s not worth it!EDIT.. after a long process to track down customer service … they did replace the light set….if your looking g for long term lights… keep looking these aren’t them.

These lights are perfect for pathway lighting! They are very bright and offer an array of colors and programs. They are the perfect size and the fact that you can swivel them makes up lighting and pathway lighting very easy. They were very easy to install, (this is my 3rd different style of lights from this manufacturer. The app is great to set days and times and colors of lights you want to go on. Great lights! Very bright! A few things I had to do a lot of research on:1) From where you plug it in to the outlet to the first light is 13ft then it’s about 8ft in btw each light2) only 1 set(4lights) can be plugged in the to the same adapter. To run multiple lights you need to buy a transformer. I just ran plugs where needed and plugged them in.3) you can group all the lights together on the app and control all the lights at once no matter how many you have.Great product! No complaints! Well worth the money!

Great Product Awesome Customer Service
The product works as expected. I set up the light to turn on at sunset. And turn off at sunrise. You can set it to any color and also have it gradient between colors. It has default setting in the app like Christmas the lights blink.The biggest story about this product is the customer service! I put in my lights in few days after it was below freezing. I dug a trench and attempted to push the light into the ground and it broke. After doing all that work I was not going to dig them back up and send it to Amazon. So I contacted the manufacturer to buy a replacement. To my surprise the agent sent me two for free.

Easy Setup & Nice Modern Look!
This product was very easy to install. I love that there are 2 lights on each head that individually swivel so you can point them in any direction, including up if you wanted to spotlight something. It was easy to connect the lights to the app. The colors are vibrant and there are numerous scene options that you can program for different times & different days of the week. You can even create a custom scene. You can also have them go to music if you would like, and it seemed like it would go to the sound coming from speakers, not necessarily what you have playing on your phone. There is also a Power Memory option where you can set do not disturb, and also program the status after the lights are on. There are a so many ways to customize these lights, or you can just plug them in and set a timer, whatever you preference is!

Worked for a couple of months then a light went rogue.
I like these lights but after a couple of months, one of the bulbs is not showing the correct color and it is dim. Emails to the manufacturer go unanswered.UpdateWas contacted by the manufacturer and they have corrected the issue for me. Thanks for the great service!

Let me first start by saying I hope you get the instruction book with your light. Pray your WiFi signal works at your home. I had to get WiFi extenders for my lights to reach the signal. But after I reached out to customer service and spoke to Miya that’s when my problems turned around. I love my lights and I’m glad they are working properly. I may get some more for the backyard. I am very impressed with the brightness, smartphone integration and easy of installation.These are the ones to get!Pros: Super easy plug and play. Comes with everything you’ll need out of the box. Good color range and accuracy. Excellent price point with coupons only $30 per light.Cons: Will need to purchase proprietary 100w transformer if extending circuits. Also need proprietary extension cords if your lighting runs are separated by more than 8ft.

These Lights are Awesome!
We just finished our landscape and hardscape at our new home, and after after a great deal of research, we purchased 4 sets (16), of the dual-head XMCosy lights. They are installed along our sidewalk and front and back garden. We ordered an optional 100 watt controller from XMCosy so that we could hook all 11 sidewalk lights on one outlet. They were easy to install and we love the colors, the pre-programmed scenes and the fact that they will flash to the best of music is amazing!! The smart phone app is very user friendly and easy to use. You can group them all together and schedule them to turn on and off, either one area at a time or as a group. We also have them paired with our Alexa. The dual-head lights turn either direction (180 degree), so we have one light shining on the front sidewalk and the other shining on our garden plants. We love these lights!!

Goodbye Govee. Hello XMCOSY+
Doing some trial fitting in my backyard. Needless to say, I’m blown away. I will be buying at least 3 more sets of these for around the outside of my house.The good:1. Super bright2. Setup isn’t too hard. (Make sure you align the notches)3. Connects to my smart home app to sync with all of my other brands of lights.The bad:1. Doesn’t work with a Mesh network if your 2.4ghz and 5.0ghz are named the same. I literally had to take an old router and turn it into a 2.4ghz AP.2. App is lacking. I have both the XMCOSY+ smart Landscape Lights and the XMCOSY+ smart String lights. It’s great that they are both listed in the same app. It’s upsetting that two smart products from the same brand cannot be grouped together. You can only group products that are the same time. The actual options in the app for each product are totally different (Down to how the screen even looks for string lights vs landscape lights) Other problem, if you select a color, lets say, blue on one of them, then go and set the same color on the other one, your results are 100% two different blues. The color sync between the two products in the same app is non existent.3. Connection – Took a few times to actually get them to connect, even with the wifi and my phone within 3ft when I first tested them.Even with these issues, I will 100% buy more of these. They are still by far a leader in outdoor smart lighting with fantastic build quality.

The lights are great!
The rating would have been a five if I didn’t encounter problems connecting to my router.Had a good customer support person by e mail only nobody to talk you thru problems that took extra time. With lights connected to WiFi I am pleased with the quality and effects these lights offer.

They came out great!
The landscape lights came out great! We have 26 total so had to add multiple 100w power supplies and I had about 10 of the extensions to get to each area. I have the same brand cage lights and the app works seamlessly with them all. Definitely recommend them.

Great lights no more holiday lights needed
Picked them up on a sale event . Very happy with them .Looks great , works well with Alexa . I have a few sets of lights for landscaping that change color and led strip around the house …I never need to do lights for a holiday again.Two downsides each light can not be individual set the kits I have from goove can but we’re more expensive.Had water damage to one light In first couple months , water got inside despite ip cert. Customer service was very good and got me a replacement quickly under warranty.Customer service never replied to my email o. The website but reaching out to seller who is the company here had extremely quick response and resolution.Overall for a nice simple easy to set up system I would recommend it . Also transformer compatible for those it matters for .

Lights are great, software needs work
The media could not be loaded.
The hardware for the lights is solid and heavy, real metal. The lights put out a lot of light and can illuminate most of my yard if I turn the lights. I like that the light heads are individually adjustable. You also get a two year warranty if you register these, which is pretty respectable for outdoor lighting.The issue with these lights is in the software in the app. The colors in the app do not match what the light is outputting. Green is red, white is blue, blue is orange, etc. This problem exists both in the manual color selection as well as in the pre-made scene selection. “Grassland” green is a dark red. “Forest” is dark red. “Ocean blue” is dark green. “Independence” (red,white,blue) is yellow green and red. None of the color selections match the actual output, and this is unacceptable in $160 lighting. The app needs updating asap, and if this is fixed these are easily 5 star lights.***UPDATE***After contacting xmcozy, they explained that all plugs must be lined up correctly in order for the correct light color to be displayed. Each plug has a small notch on the male end that needs to be lined up with the female end. They can be plugged in without issue without lining up these notches, but the lights will be the wrong color. After double checking the lights, I realized the first plug coming out of the receiver box was plugged in crooked, giving me the wrong colors. I fixed it and now everything is displaying correctly. 5 stars, awesome lights. Very happy with them now.

Great product for the price
I was surprised when I opened the box and found these lights to be constructed of metal and not some cheap plastic. All around the design is amazing.If you have a google WiFi router that only uses 5ghz these lights will not work. The router is a mesh of 2.4ghz and 5ghz and relies on the devise to recognize this. These lights do not. There is also no way to split or bridge your google router to work with these lights. Because I liked the design of the lights so much I went out and purchased a cheap wireless router that could split in to 2.4ghz and 5ghz. As soon as I got the router running I was able to complete the setup and the lights look even better with the different colors.

Loved them while they worked
Ordered them April 11th loved them. Had them on a nice schedule and loved the app as well. Until one light ended up completely filling with water and dying. Return window closed after a month so I am screwed now.UPDATE: Reached out to the company directly via their website. They were quick to reply and sent an entire 4 pack as a replacement. As far as customer service goes that is a 10/10 in my book. Will update after 6 months of use.UPDATED UPDATE -After 6-7 months of pouring down rain, horrible snow storms and wind, these lights are still performing flawlessly. No more water leaking in, I haven’t even had to touch or adjust them in the last 6 months. They have remained on their schedule and continue to work great. I do recommended these

Fix for network is not connecting to lights
Installation and app are both very straight forward. However I could not get the app to connect to the internet. I tried all of the suggestion’s by both company and users, none worked. It kept telling me it did not have authority to access my network. Then I noticed that the app was designed similar to the app I use for for my porch lights, the Atomi Smart app. I found that in this app network was set to ‘ALLOW LOCATION ACCESS – While Using App’. The location service was never listed in the XMcosy app. So I changed ‘ALLOW LOCATION ACCESS to Always’ in the Atomi Smart app. Then the XMcosy app was finally able to connect to the network. Apparently both companies are using the same or very similar apps. So no problems after this and everything is working as it is supposed too.

Great lights, but they need their own controller
My bad on ordering these – I intended to hook them up to a 12V system already in place using standard 2-wire connectors. They really are not designed for this so going to have to return. They are fantastic looking lights though, seem really heavy-duty.

Great Addition
This is a great addition to our home! We have Trimlight on our home and this adds even more colorful lighting to our walls! Full install took about 30 min, mostly hiding the wire under the river rock. Easy to sync and automatically got set up with our alexa. Very user friendly!

Very Bright!
Overall, this is a great product. Although, it’s an extreme pain in the rear, to connect to your Android phone, or iPad Pro. I spent over an hour, fighting with it trying to get the lights, to find my WiFi2 and Bluetooth. But after giving it access to my exact location and Bluetooth permissions (unknown why that’s necessary), it finally allowed me to connect it to the network. But be prepared for the cabling. It’s a heavy 5 wire cable and it has installed connectors. You can’t increase the length, and can only decrease the length, by wrapping the cable around itself. I wish they sold extension cables, to make the cables longer. And the LED lights have to be at least an output of equivalent to 25 watts each. I love that you can adjust the direction of the lights, with the swivel heads. Except for connecting it to my WiFi, I love these lights!!! When I took the picture, it was rotating through the Blue sequence of lights. Ignore the clear lights along the sides, since those aren’t the XMcosy’s.

Amazing
After installing the lights, I noticed that one side would not change colors. So I unplug the strand and found one of the prongs on the female side was missing. I contacted customer services. The asked for my order number and sent me the cord to replace it. I installed the new cord and now they work amazing. Miya was a pleasure to work with. The lights give off the perfect ambiance around our pool!

Had a minor issue with the power supply 6 months after purchase. Customer service sent me a replacement part right away. Recieved in 2 days and all is working great again. Highly recommend the product and the company stands behind it 100%. Would buy again without hesitation. Highly recommended.

Malfunctioning Light/No Response to Emails for Help **UPDATED**
Updated from 2 to 4 starsI’m updating my review from 2 to 4 stars as xmcosy was responsive to my concerns and sent me a replacement light. To me 5 stars would be a “perfect” rating which didn’t happen; however, xmcosy made it right and I’m back to enjoying the lights now as I expected!I really enjoyed these lights when I installed them. However, in less than 90 days, half of one of the lights stopped working (see picture). I emailed xmcosy for help twice with no response. Now I am beyond the 90 day warranty period and can not return it for a replacement. Such a bummer for a product that I enjoyed but had hope it would last more than 90 days!

Great looking set of lights will definitely add on in the future.
Easy to assemble great construction. Some difficulty connecting to our wifi system. E-mailed customer service and the issue was quickly resolved (allowing for delay in response to emails because of time difference). Great customer service! Lights work very well and are easy to connect to Amazon Alexa once wifi connection was established. Very easy to adjust brightness and color with downloaded app.

Have to replace the whole set
So the lights are easy to install and seem very pretty, but one out of the 4 lights dont turn on at all, i tried contacting them to have a replacement light sent, but apparently I have to return the whole set and re order it and then install it over again. Its just sad that I have to return everything, and order everything again if I want it fully functioning, waste of energy if you ask meUPDATE: I returned the whole set and got another one, apparently is a newer version because the electric connections are easier to connect, which I guess means that they keep upgrading them, so by the time you by yours, they might have fixed a couple issues or added a feature.

Very hard to connect to wi-fi
These lights are really difficult to connect with wi-fi. The instructions say you have to be very close to your router but they’re outside lights. How close can you be to a router? They just did not work for me. I wish they would have but I had to send them back. They also are a bit cheap looking for the price.
