Does the job
The power is very good, which is evident in the way it drags you along the lawn as soon as you pull the throttle.Would be better if it could go edge to edge, leaves a few inches around all the edges of the lawn that need going over with a handheld hoover.Has some issue with sucking up light debris (feathers, small stones, etc.).Also, very very loud, so ear protection is recommended.

Excellent bit of kit
So I have had my artificial grass down now for a number of years and it has become quite flat, I normally try to revive this with a garden brush and hoover.I saw this advertised and thought I would give it a go, and I was not left disappointed. It was very easy to use, light and very well made. It is better than you would expect for £160 yes it is a little noisy as others have said but no more noisier then a lawnmower in my opinion. My grass is now standing up like it was when it was new.

Fantastic
Have had artificial grass for 5 years or so and tried lots of things to clean the grass. This is by far the best thing I have ever used!! Not only does it clean the bits up off the grass it gets out the dog hair. The brushes lift the grass and restores the bounce and soft feel, my daughters are love this as they are usually bare foot or cartwheeling across it

Amazing
I liked everything about this product it is amazing. I had an avalanche of catkins covering my lawn plus sycamore wings which had embedded into my artificial grass. The Greensweep cleared them with ease and I am delighted. Its the best item I have bought in a long time.

Gets the job done!
We were struggling to keep up with all the catkins falling on to the artificial grass. We tried different brushes and outdoor vacuums/blowers, but this works so much better. Yes, it is noisy, but it’s only on for 5 or 10 mins and it looks great afterwards.

Quick and easy and better than a Garden Broom
It was easy to put together and I was off in no time. Took me a little time to get use to it but soon I was in my stride. 30 minutes and the garden was done (over an hour with a manual brush, and no bad back at the end. The plastic grass is plumped up again and looks as new as when it was laid 3 years ago. My son loves it now as it feels softer when he plays football. Not a bad price and so far so good. It is quite noisy but no louder than a lawn mower… Just remember to brush the sides of the lawn as it leaves a 10cm edged all the way round the fence line. Should have bought one of these years ago 😀

What a difference!
We’ve only had our artificial grass laid about 8 months, but due to a lot of trees and it being a bit big for me to brush properly, I noticed quite a build up of bits in it and weeds started to pop up, also grass sprouting from birds dropping seeds. So, we thought we’d give this a go before calling in a professional to maintain it. Well!! we could not have been more pleased! We set it quite high and it didn’t do much, but on the lower settings, it did an amazing job. Picked up all of the leaves, weeds, tiny bits of tree mess and really lifted the grass. It does have a bit of a pull to it when you are going against the pile of the grass, so hold tight 🤣. It’s not great with twigs over about 5cm or thicker ones and other reviews about wet leave were right. It chews them up and leaves a bit of mess. A quick wipe out at the back where the bits get thrown into the collection bag and all sorted though. A great and quick way to freshen the grass.

Makes the lawn good as new
This is a fantastic machine, so easy to push, in fact it propels itself. All the bits of debris and leaves are gone into the very efficient collecting bag. Very easy to put together too. ( I’m an elderly lady – if I can do it anyone can). It took me less than 1/4 hour to completely clean my medium sized lawn. It is a bit noisy, but won’t really annoy the neighbours as it’s so quickly finished.

Does what it says!
I bought this mainly to pick up the leaves on my lawn as I was getting sick and tired of sweeping them up! I never thought it would be good enough to bring my 10 year old, uncared for artificial grass back to looking new again! The before and after photos were taken maybe an hour apart – so still the same light and as you can see the difference is amazing! I used this on wet leaves too (instructions don’t recommend this). The product was easy to put together by myself alone I have not given it 5 stars just because of the noise, and the fact it doesn’t go to te edges (last photo).

A Miracle Machine
If you have leaves and artificial turf this sweeper is fabulous. Works exactly as advertised and make your turf look like it did the day is was installed and assemble was a breeze. I’ve been searching for several years for a product like this so I decided to give it a chance. I highly recommend the GreenSweep. Company appears to be based in the U.K.

Works very well, but expensive for what it does
It does a very good job of sweeping up my artificial turf. It’s light, and it was easy to assemble. My only gripe would be that it’s basically just a spinning brush with no vacuum action. For what this costs, it’s very basic, but there are no other easy/cheaper alternatives at this time

Finally, what I’ve been after!
We have had turf for almost 10 years – we have a large yard. We are surrounded by pine trees (small and long needles) and a couple trees with small leaves. I’ve always had push sweepers. With the pine needles that meant going over the same path 10 times to get “most” of the needles and leaves up. The Greensweep is the best purchase I’ve made in a long time. This thing was easy to put together, is well designed, and does the job in one path. Yesterday when I used it I filled an entire garbage can (the large one) with needles and small leaves. It also stood up the turf SO much better than the push sweepers.I read one reviewer who said the bag does not catch leaves. He must have been using it wrong, because this thing catches everything, and it is simple to empty. If you have turf, this is worth the money!!

Not that this needs another great review.
One word, wow.I have not really delved into everything this can do. I straight up just vacuumed my entire backyard turf. It is amazing. On the second to lowest setting it has gotten up a ton of pine needles. Really looking forward to the summer and not getting stabbed with pine needles. I will update when I use it to fluff up the turf.

Really hoped this would work as described but was a total failure
I really hoped the positive reviews were true however the negative reviews are 100% accurate and truthful. I tried to find a reason to keep it but in the end it created more work than not using it. Design is very flawed and under powered as designed. The debris is not pushed up all the way into the basket so it drops the debris back out onto the turf with the slightest bump of divot in the turf. This will only work in lap conditions and never should have passed quality testing. Zero ability to clean edges of the turf which wipes out a lot of benefit even if it worked at all. I though a few of the negative reviewers were just clueless and put it together wrong but they are spot on. Also directions are almost no existent. Use a shop vacuum with a pole extension and brush as this was the best idea I found.

Excellent to pick up leaves, seeds, & twigs from lawn
I rarely write reviews. We’ve had this machine for about a month & 1/2 & I wouldn’t write a review until I tested it for awhile. We have artificial turf in the front & back yards. The back yard is about 40’x20′ & the front yard is smaller. This machine was a life saver. In addition to leaves, palm trees drop seeds onto both front & back yards. They crush under your shoes & are difficult to remove from shoe tread (lime juice & vinegar works, but slowly).I read reviews before we bought. There were complaints that it quit after 1 or 2 times & that the chord gets tangled.1. It takes about an hour to clear the front & back. That’s NOT a long time. When I’ve tried to do it with a blower & rake, the time would double.2. We’ve used it front & back about every two weeks. It has plenty of power & hasn’t given us any trouble.3. I posted a picture because some complained that the plug would pull out. Well, that’s not the fault of the machine. We have a 50′ extension & a 25′ extension…necessary to cover the entire backyard. If you loop the extension chord around the green outside handles, you use up about 2′ of the chord, BUT, it won’t pull out.4. Also, here’s a tip. Flake out the extension chord with the part plugging into the machine on top (I used to rock climb & that’s how you flake out a rope). Also, if the outlet is on one side of your yard (i.e. the side next to the house), start on that side. Otherwise, every time you turn to come back the other way, the chord will be in front of the machine.5. Another tip. Although, the “bag” attachment that holds the leaves, etc. is large, you need to dump it several times before it’s “full” because it will start to spill out. You can help somewhat by tilting the handle down to the ground (while you’re stopped), so that the leaves will shift to the back of the attachment. Obviously, if your yard isn’t level, then going downhill will spill some of the leaves sooner.6. Another tip. You can see green attachments, 2 on each side of the handle. When putting this together, DON’T screw them in tight…leave them very loose. Then, you can spin them tighter. Otherwise, you won’t be able to collapse the top part of the handle when you put it away. (This advice probably won’t make sense until you actually put it together.)So why only 4 stars. First, I can’t speak to those who said the machine wouldn’t work a second time or only worked for 5 minutes. We had no problem. NOTE: there is a safety feature where you have to push & hold the side button in & then push the lever before it will start. Then you can release the side button & it should work as long as you keep the lever in.Also, I have 1 a pet peeve about instructions. The instructions consist of pictures & the order in which to use the pictures. However, I feel that when something has to be put together (especially if it’s made outside the USA), instructions should 1) list & identify all the parts (which it did), 2) list exactly what tools are needed (which it didn’t), & 3) someone who is native to the USA should write the instructions clearly (which it didn’t).

Poor Customer Service; Updated 02/22/24
One of the plastic screws to tighten the support bars had snapped. I sent an email to customer service three weeks ago, but have yet to receive a response. In the meantime, I am able to use the sweeper with a partial screw that periodically needs tightening. The sweeper picks up about 90 percent of the lawn debris, so I need to go over the lawn at least twice. The debris catcher is made with a flimsy plastic bag that will surely need to be replaced in a couple years. With my experience with their customer service however, it’s unclear whether I’d be able to get a replacement debris catcher. Overall, it is a time saver compared to a rake, but the cost is too high for what you get.02/22/24 UPDATE: After posting the above review, I was contacted by their customer service and was sent the replacement part. The customer service representative said a computer issue prevented them from responding to me earlier. Because of their response, my overall rating was upgraded from 3 to 4 stars.

Hard to push forward
The unit sweeps your fake grass. Hard to push so you end up pulling it back to do the job. I needed a height setting somewhere between high and the first notch. So not possible. Works well but not for the debris from our palm trees which fall out of the collection bin. You will need to find another way to do next to a fence or barrier. There is no vacuum function which is what is needed to perfect the function. I chose this vs a similar option due to a Black Friday discount.

works so good it needs a larger collection bag.
This works so good it needs a larger collection bag. It picked up twigs and needles that a blower can’t. It does fluff up the turf better than my professional rotary broom. Two draw backs. This will not get closer than 4 inches to a wall, fence, planter so you have to use the existing rotary broom I have and the blower to get up next to things then use the Green sweep. The the cord is a giant pain in the ###. Lets give it a larger bag, go cordless.

Big skeptic turned big fan!
The media could not be loaded.
Ok, here’s my honest reason for this review. I took unboxing photos and first pass video expecting it was going to be used for returning the sweeper. It was pricey compared to my trusty turf broom and leaf blower. This blew away my expectations. My first pass was on the tallest setting and a second pass was with one level lower. Check out the photos and video…they speak for themselves. This is 5-stars all the way as long as it doesn’t break!Sound: It’s LOUD. Some combination of shop vacuum, fire alarm (high pitch), and agitator.Design flaw: It would have been nice for the agitator to be placed in front of the wheels so you could get all the way to the edge (like a push vacuum).

Blew My Mind
I’ve never written a review until I used this and felt like I had to. My turf was dirty as hell, leaves and small sticks. This contraption far exceeded my expectations. It was badass. You gotta empty it frequently, but who gives af it works like a charm. Obviously it’s not going to be Godsend enough to pick up big sticks so don’t be lazy and pick those up yourself. Peace and love, users.

I hate leaving bad reviews!
The media could not be loaded.
I really dont enjoy leaving bad reviews, and really wanted this to work! However, before you order this product, take a look at this. The machine was desribed to work well as did a couple of videos, but the one I received did not come close! This is a great concept, but poor execution. The machine would pick up material (kindof), grind it into smaller pieces and leave a trail behind instead of sucking it in to the catch as designed. I attempted multiple passes, different directions, clearing the catch, multiple height settings and even in reverse. No luck – keeps leaving material behind. Sorry, but dont waste your time and money.

Doesn’t pick anything up
Ran it over my turf with some leaves. Leaves disappeared as I went over lawn. Stopped to see how full the bag was and there was nothing in it! It breaks the leaves up and deposits it back into the lawn as now a mulchy infill. Returning product. No vacuum to ensure debris gets into bag

Not exactly as the video suggests
The product works ok when you use it according to the directions which indicate it is only to be pushed in a forward direction and specifically tells you not to pull it backwards. Videos show how well it lifts the turf when pulled backwards but I haven’t brought myself to break the rules yet. If you have a long haired pet, it will not gather fur into the bag so you have to pick up patches of fur that the brushes leave on the turf. Other than that we are fairly happy with it. I’ll update my review when I finally get tired of only pushing in a forward direction.

Greensweep
The Greensweep was easy to assemble, artificial turf in front yard has been in for 8-9 years, was amazed of the amount of embedded debris that was picked up and how the turf looks. The artificial turf in the back yard has been in 6 months, I need to get used to the settings as the Greensweep picked up a lot of sand from the putting green.

Badly needed product
This does the trick: Buying artificial grass initially seems like a great idea. I needed it based on a dog digging up my long chasing Gophers. Unfortunately, with artificial grass there are problems that need to be addressed one of which this product solves. I had a grape vine over the lawn Well as small leafed trees and bushes that made it almost impossible to be raked out of the lawn. This product seems to do the trick. It feels funny using a lawn mower type device over an artificial lawn but it is needed. I’ve only used it a couple times but I’m more than satisfied with the results because there were none other.

Well worth the money
The item just came today and I put it together. It would’ve been nice with better instructions but I figured it out. I tried it on my yard and I can say that it works OK. As long as you don’t have steppingstones to sweep around and it doesn’t get edges. When I received the item the bag catcher was broken at the weld so I’m hoping I can get a replacement bag, but this does save me hours of work, blowing off my yard!UPDATE: whereas this does save me hours of blowing off my yard, it’s irritating that it doesn’t get anywhere near the edges of your yard and you’re dragging around 100 foot cord everywhere you go! I tried to use it on my putting green in my backyard. It has flat or turf than the rest of the yard. It actually left stuff on it instead of picking stuff up. It looked worse when I was done then when I started. Do not use this on that flat putting green turf! This is a love-hate relationship. And there’s no one to contact if there’s a problem with it. You literally have to return the entire thing and get another one. Which is what I now have to do since the grass catcher on, it has a broken weld.

An Awesome Find
I’ve been cleaning my neighbors’ pine needles and leaves off my artificial turf for the past two years using a hand rake and blower, a job that was very labor intensive. After reading the reviews I decided to pull the trigger on this little gem and don’t regret it. There were only two minor issues I encountered one of which others also expressed; the extension cord. The second one was the catch bag regurgitating pine needles, which was remedied by emptying the bag more often. I absolutely love the self-propelling feature that aided with a quick clean up. Based on the photos the clean up was amazing and without expending a lot of energy.

Amazing
We have two German Shepherds and installed turf about a year ago. Even though I did a fairly good job maintaining the turf with a manual rake and a blower I noticed as time went on more hair build up and some minor debris. The GreenSweep has made my life so much easier. I cannot believe how much dog hair and debris was able to be removed. I wish I would have purchased sooner. My turf looks brand new.

Very Impressed!!
I tried for the first time after being delivered two days ago. My turf has tons of small leaves that stick to the blades so using a blower didn’t get them all off. I had been using a turf rake first, then a landscape vacuum to get what wouldn’t rake up and then hose off the remaining leaves. This process took about 3 hours start to finish for my 2 sections of turf. This sweeper did it in less than an hour. The sweeper is very powerful and picked up everything in one pass when walking at a normal lawn mower pace. I had no issues getting to the edges of my brick border or the sidewalk. I just overlapped part of the border/sidewalk and the turf and it got those leaves at the edge. For those wishing this was battery operated, keep in mind if battery powered, it wouldn’t be as powerful and eventually those batteries die and would need to be replaced. Having the extension cord wasn’t and issue for me and always stayed out of my way. My only regret is not knowing something like this existed 3 years ago when I first had my artificial turf installed. It’s a bit pricey, but I feel it a worthwhile investment to keep your turf looking as great as the day it was installed.

Exceeded expectations
I was a bit wary about getting this, as it’s not cheap and wasn’t sure if it would perform at the level I needed (picking up pine needles and other small debris). Boy was pleasantly surprised! The sweeper is super powerful and the attached bag was full before I knew it. I did have to go over a few places more than once, but it beats the manual raking I had to do previously. Setup took longer than it should have because of crappy instructions, but it is not rocket science so anyone should be able to do it in 30 minutes or less. No regrets here, I hope it lasts a few years at least!
