Very Satiisfied
Highly recommend this product. We moved into a new home this fall and weather did not permit seeding or sodding. No grass, lots of mud. We leveled off a spot, laid down about 6 inches of compacted sand, and laid the artificial turf down on the sand base. Used landscape staples every 18 inches to anchor it down. It has worked perfectly. Moisture drains through very well. Our dog got adjusted to it very quickly. This solved a big problem for us. 5 stars all the way.

Beautiful!
Definitely needs muscles for the job, but I love it. I will say give it time to arrive due to the Covid 19 situation because it took 10 days to arrive. It is totally worth the wait. It has a slight chemically smell but it goes away after a while. The rain runs right through, so if you plan to use it for dogs it’ll do the job intended.

Make sure when you putting the grass that every turf is facing the same way.
It really looks like a real grass.We used it for our backyard because we have a 2 years old German shepherd and we were putting new grass every year and she totally killed it every year so this was our last chance .I really hope this grass will last few years.So far ,so good and Bella loves it.One more thing is that the turf should be rolled like a real grass that way there are no stripes.

Love the look and feel-best faux grass ever!
Easy to install! Looks so realistic! Feels like real grass- very soft on your feet! Superior quality! Ordered one piece-loved it so much I ordered 3 more pieces!! Total side yard play area for puppy ended up being 10 ft by 20 ft. Puppy uses rocks at the end of patio (not pictured) to potty on-even she wants to keep it as play yard.

Heats up
I put this on a concrete slab at the bottom of some steps. It looks great but is much much hotter than my nylon outdoor rugs. It is so hot I doubt it’s even safe for my pets to walk on. If I didn’t walk around barefoot I would never know how horribly hot it gets.I would not use this product for a pet area. Buy a small piece and put it outside before you make a large purchase

Amazing product, Poor shipping and handling.
Purchased a 4×6 ft patch of turf and LOVED it, looked and felt very natural. So much so that I opted to purchase a second 6×6 patch in order to better cover the area. Unfortunately, unlike the first bit which arrived rolled, the second patch was folded several times and spent the 2 week travel time packed in a box leaving creases that have yet to come out. Completely defeats the purpose of an otherwise impressive product. Disappointed…3/5

This is a good product if you don’t have to use it for your pet. The material comes off very easily and if you have to clean it once a week eventually you will see spots where the fake grass comes off. Great for indoor if you don’t have pets. Also, you feel some kind of greasy texture on it.

Forever grass is awfully nice
This stuff is great! It was cut to the right size, it’s bright and cheerful, and it makes my patio look like a yard! The initial stickiness of the backing rubber and the overpowering odor it had when it arrived seem to be improved. It didn’t cut down on the heat from the pavement below, but it did help the glare.

Nice turf!

Works well and the touch is closer to grass
The feel of the fake grass is surprisingly good. I used the 5’ x 10’ on my patio and put sand underneath with a tarp under that. It works great for the dogs when letting them out in the morning. They love it. Almost too much that they try to lay down on it. Over all it’s way better than the 4 other fake grasses I’ve tried in the past. It drains well and is fairly easy to clean with a hose.

High quality artificial grass!
I bought a tapestry to add more privacy to my apartment patio and this grass turf completed the look. Very good quality and looked more realistic after a few days of being laid flat on the ground. The lines on the turf as you can see from the picture (taken the same day it was delivered) have now disappeared. Very happy with this purchase.

The grass is greener on my side
This is a great way to liven up a barren concrete patio. Just use adhesive glue and you can eventually remove that with mineral spirits. The grass looks so real. But it does get hot in the sun, so just don’t use it during parts of the day when it gets direct sunlight.

I love Amazon and have been a Prime member for years and years. That being said, the Petgrow artificial turf/grass has been the best of the best purchases I have made here! I live in the Southwest and coming from California it has taken me the 6 years I have lived here to finally take the plunge and install Petgrow in my large sandy, dry backyard. I am a happy Repeat Customer
I purchased this product in November 2018 in a 4 ft by 15 ft size and I am quite pleased with it. It was less expensive than the artificial turf at Home Depot and it looked like real grass from a distance. I purchased this product again in June 2019 in a 9 ft by 9 ft size but the carpet had ceases in it because they folded the carpet to allow shipping. I then worked with the supplier and the supplier asked me to wait about 10 days to allow the cease to recover. Most of the ceases did recover except for a few major ceases so the supplier refunded a portion of my payment that is sufficient enough to satisfy me. The supplier worked very hard to make me happy and I recognized this. I will be buying this product for a third time in 2020.

Beware! Different Colors /Piles
This product is great, but if you need more than one section you might end up getting different colors and /or piles of grass like I did. I ordered one sheet to see if I liked the quality. It was good, so I immediately ordered another to complete my yard. The new sheet didn’t match the other one. It was darker in color and the pile is different too. When I requested a remedy, they told me to rotate it, which I did in good faith. That didn’t work. No matter which way I turned it, the new one doesn’t match the old one. My advice? If you need more than one, order them all at the same time to prevent wasting a ton of cash or having your yard look like a patchwork quilt.G

This stuff is great installed an area last year and held up well. I added additional grass for this year. I use the rake to fluff it back up. I ordered grass that looked like what I ordered last year and it was awful. Make sure it’s the Petgrow brand.

Easy install
Took the risk and got 2 slabs of 8×20 and it worked like a charm for our small backyard sitting area/mini dog park. Just grab some extra yard staples to lock it all in and you should be good! Probably took 45 minutes to get both pieces lined up and stapled with a rubber mallet.Only MINOR nuance is that the 2 slabs aren’t 100% the same color…which whatever right? I’m the least handy person on the planet and I managed to accomplish what’s in the pictures with a little professional guess work and some motivation from my wife.

Just what the doctor ordered.
This product is just what the doctor ordered. The dirt brought in the house by the “before” picture has been eliminated. The poops pic up easily and I never see pee. I put down a layer of weed block, drainage rocks from Lowe’s, and a second layer of weed block to ease any roughness from the rocks. Dogs love it also. Now to repair grass around the edges. The 8×14 grass came folded so I laid it out in the garage for a few days with some boards with weights over the fold seams to flatten them out.

Pet Grow Realistic Artificial Grass Turf arrived in a roll. I purchased the 5’ x 10’ piece. I did not do much prep to the area I’m using it, raked/leveled the area and removed any hard rocks, sticks, etc. Rolled it out and tucked it under pavers. This is a small side yard area that is mostly used for the dogs, and a little bit for kids who visit a couple times a week. But is also a quiet, hidden garden area to sit and read. I do keep some kind of shade cover up during the hot summer days, so it won’t be getting constant hot sun beating down on it.Many of the artificial grasses I’ve seen are stiff, this one is soft and actually feels good to rub my hands in. If my video posts okay, you can see that my dog enjoys rolling and laying on it, as does a preschooler who visits.I’ve only had it down for a couple of days. I will probably roll it up and prep better under it, to include a layer of sand. Time will tell how well it holds up, but at right around $100, it was the best price for this size of artificial turf. I previously tried putting sod down in this area, but it didn’t last in the heat with no timed irrigation, and me forgetting to water it (as well as the years of drought we’ve had in CA). Then tried bark, but brown isn’t my favorite color. While I prefer real grass for large areas, this seems to be a good solution for this small side yard area.

Really Nice Artificial Turf!
This is really nice artificial turf. It looks like real mowed grass, and it drains really well when it rains or just gets wet. The turf has multiple colors and heights throughout the weave, so it looks like grass at different stages of life. We ordered the 5′ x 10′ size, and it came shipped rolled up in a tube so it has no folds or wrinkles. Our German Shepherd really likes this turf also. The first thing she did was roll all over it. Only time will tell how well the turf holds up, but it looks and feels very durable. The only negative goes to the seller and not the turf. They are very inconsistent with their shipping times. We initially ordered one section of turf so that we could see the quality. We received that order in 3 days. However we decided to order another section of turf, and it has been over a week since the order was placed. We still have not received the order. The order status is still showing that it has not moved in several days. This is supposed to be “Prime” 2 day delivery. It would be nice to get the shipping time that we are actually paying all of that money for. Overall I would recommend this artificial turf, just be aware that it could be a while before you actually receive your order.

Medium-Quality Turf, but currently the best available thru mail-order….
For reference sake, this artificial turf is ~1.37″ high, Top-shelf turf is ~ 2.0 ” high.It makes a difference.This is the type of turf an apartment complex might use, but not the front yard of a homeowner.It looks much more realistic than any of the green outdoor carpeting that you might find rolled up at the Hardware store, and with a 10 yr. warranty hopefully, more durable & UV tolerant.The color looks a lill unnatural too so it will always look like artificial/fake grass.Hope that the manufacturing company is still around years from now too……It should also be mentioned that my 5′ x 22′ piece came folded in a box, not rolled…. which left creases every two-feet & made installation a little more difficult.Couldn’t just roll it out, had to unfold & flip it…check size then picture a tight space, hence the difficulty.If you’re within driving distance of a grass store/warehouse, make the drive & accept/pay for the loss (you’ll have to buy linear feet & pay sq. feet) and you will have a better quality, more realistic grass turf & overall result. Cutting turf is super easy…the backside looks like a sewing seam, easy to follow with scissors.That’s the review in a nutshell…..

Great Product-Pathetic Customer Service
THE GOOD – The grass is great couldn’t be happier with the product!THE BAD – I ordered an 11’x28’ piece and received a 10’x28’ piece. The packing slip even had 11×28 written on it. I contacted Petgrow and they said if I sent them pictures they would be more than happy to take care of it. I sent them pictures and have not gotten any response from them. So not only did I get the wrong size, they also didn’t refund me the difference in the sizes. I had to put in a flower bed to make up for the grass being the wrong size. So I figured in total I am out about $200 on top of what I paid for the grass. BUYER BEWARE!!

My Huskie Loves This!
The product was shipped and arrived earlier than stated which was great!! It is pretty heavy so make sure you have someone to help you move it. The grass is really soft and my dog absolutely loves it! Only problem was it was cut at a weird angle and was not a straight roll and it was shorter than described (Probably because of how it was cut). Probably 1-2 inches shorter. For the price, I figured it would have been cut to size or an extra inch or so as other products do this to ensure you get what you need. We had to readjust the edging we had already put down with paver base. But all in all, I’m happy with the results of the product!

Good value for the price
Used this for a 10×30 dog potty area. We put it directly over sand and dirt. It has held up for 3 years and we are ready to replace now. It does hold on to urine smells, a bit more in the summer so have to use a kennel cleaner solution. We will use an ecogrid with gravel system this next time around to see if the drainage improves

Perfect for cozy outdoor green space in the city
Exactly what I was looking for. I had a rug on this patio that was holding too much water limiting use of the deck 2-3 days after a rain. This turf has drain holes which making it much better. Sure it’s wet after a rain but not soggy more damp. There wasn’t an exact size but I ordered a little bigger. It was easy to cut to the appropriate size with an exacto knife.The grass pile height is perfect for my use and is realistic looking. The dog likes to lay it like grass. Like many others reviewers have stated it is shipped folded in a square box so the fold creases will need to relax a day or two. I immediately took it out and rolled it up for a day. The creases have relaxed now that it’s installed and it’s a comfy outdoor living space.The only reason I gave it a 4 on easy to clean is that I haven’t had to do that yet. Maybe a sweeper will do the trick once I need to get up crumbs and such.

I love it!
This was exactly what I was hoping for. I always read reviews before I purchase anything and these all seemed really good. It came rolled up like a rug so I placed the block on the end to straighten out the end curl, but other than that, it’s perfect. It looks very realistic and the kids and dogs love it. If you are looking for a nice, inexpensive way to spruce up your yard and you’re a low maintenance type of person like myself, this is for you. It is not cheaply made at all. Very thick and very nice. This was the 5’x10′ roll which was great for what I wanted.

Good budget buy for an artificial look
I will preface this with the fact we have a professionally installed, high-quality artificial grass installed in our backyard. It looks amazing and is completely matte.This grass is extremely shiny in comparison. It’s hard to capture in the photos, but the surface reflects light brightly. It is mitigated partially by using a turf rake to pull the blades more vertical. That is the price for DIY at 10% of the cost of a professional material.We used the brand fabric tape to connect the seams, which needs to have time to cure, at least when in direct sun. It was in the upper 70’s that day with no clouds, so we ended up weighing the tape down with sand bags, and then installed it in the early evening.We live on a steep hill with gophers galore. The ground was prepared by being poorly graded, fabric weed, gopher wire, and then enough sand to create a smoother surface (about 1”-2” depth.) We then used galvanized 6” landscaping staples, which are generally not visible.Overall we’re happy with the look at this product’s price. We didn’t have $14000 to shell out on our front yard, which was the cost of the backyard 6 years ago. (They did a lot of prep and had 5” of finely crushed granite beforehand.) We’ll see how this stands up to two young children and two large dogs (64 lbs and 90 lbs).

I love the pet grass
This pet grass is awesome! We installed it in the end of March, and the pictures that I posted are of it today. So it’s been in almost six months. When our dog poo,s on it and we pick it up it’s very easy to rinse off. And when she pees it goes through into the ground underneath. We haven’t had any problems with lingering odors, we used a lot of nails when we put it in so we haven’t had any problems with it coming up at the edges or anything either. Extremely happy with how well it’s holding up. It’s not coming apart at all. Used to be a little muddy area that she would go in to use the bathroom and she would come back in with mud on her paws and it was a pain in the butt. Putting the pet grass there it’s one of the best things we’ve ever done. We dug down a couple inches, we added this crushed gravel stuff that we got from the Landscaping store. We were going to rent a compactor , but we had a really good rain and that rain seems like it really binded everything together so we chose not to rent the compactor. We just stomped around on it a lot. We leveled it and then laid the pet grass down on top of it. We only had to trim off a little bit of the pet grass to make it fit, because the size we ordered was almost a perfect fit it was just a little bit too big. Then we use the whole bunch of nails all the way around we started like in the middle and worked our way out that way there wouldn’t be any bumps or bulges in it. For the area in the picture we used 400 nails. I guarantee you our pet grass is not going to come up. It’s like almost any place you go on that pet grass if you were to look down into it you can’t go more than a couple inches without seeing a nail. Of course we fluffed the grass up after we nailed it down so when you’re actually just looking at it you don’t see the nails. I would highly recommend the pet grass.

Strong and an easy installation
The 5ft x 10ft turf came rolled as a package. The installation was very easy and I did not need any special help. It has been a couple of weeks that I have placed the artificial turf on my balcony, which is on a high floor. No wrinkles or damages yet. It rained heavily a couple of days ago and the artificial turf withstood the rain and it became dry the next day. The small holes (which are invisible to the naked eye) work perfectly for drainage of rain water. No shedding of artificial turf yet. I walk barefoot on the turf, the feeling is soft and I have not experienced any discomfort. I am receiving compliments from visitors.

Great product! No smell easily cleans off and drains any fluid. My dogs love it AND no fleas on the dogs like they get on real grass! As soon as I can afford to buy more I will do my whole back yard! Love it

does the job
It’s ok and I was happy enough with it to keep it It, but it feels slightly sticky on your feet. Positive…. Animals think it is real grass. Negative….. A baby bunny and my dog keep pooping on it 🤣

A Life-prolonging Purchase
Sadly, we bought this to allow our old dog to bathroom on our deck. It allowed her to avoid stairs to do her business in quick fashion. It made her life so much easier for the last 8 months of her life and, for this, I am grateful. I could spray it clean with a hose or brush it with a broom as needed. She adjusted to using it almost immediately instead of the yard. High quality. Thank you.

Great solution, but it gets HOT in direct sunlight!
This is great for people with little to no yard for their pets to do their business. It looks and feels like real grass and cleans easily. The only caveat – hence the four stars – is that it gets hot when in direct sun. My pup and I both found that out the hard way, so I’ll be purchasing a large umbrella for the deck very soon. Other than that correctible problem, it is so worth it!

Gets too hot for pets feet!
Looks great but gets extremely hot! It gets so hot, the dogs can’t even walk on it so it kind of defeated the purpose for what I needed for ☹️

No worries with change of season, always green
Year round green and no mowing is great. We see very few bugs on the turf. Easy to remove solids with poop scooper because of plastic grass. Need to be somewhat level or flat surface to lay the turf on for it to look nice and we highly recommend adding sand To sub surface for drainage so no pools of water collect on top of turf. Have 3 small dogs and all use with ease and turf seems to stay dryer then the real grass after a rain so bonus for those picky with getting wet paws. Only complaint is the smell but we found spraying some nature’s miracle on it then hosing down (so product isn’t left on turf to bother their feet) seems to work.Recommend sand on sub surface underneath the turf for drainage and step stones if purchasing a longer piece of tuff so dogs can do their business to the sides and we don’t step in it.

Use for our dog
We use this over rock on our patio for our dog to use. drains well, easy to clean with turf spray and water. Does get hot to touch in sustained direct summer sun. Good value for money, looks fairly realistic but not picky since it is for our dog to potty on. We replaced after a year as the first one we laid over sand and it trapped urine smell pretty quickly and we couldn’t remove it. So far over rock it doesn’t smell. Should be rinsed and sprayed regularly though.
