BRIGHT AND WATER-PROOF 50FT LED OUTDOOR STRING LIGHTBULBS
Installation was super easy but unboxing wasn’t. It comes with an instruction on how to untangle properly by laying it flat and untwisting the blue wired clasps that hold the cords together. It doesn’t work. I just tried to untangle it carefully by laying it flat on my balcony. Once untangled, installation was very easy. I bought hanging hooks with spring clasps to hold the electrical cord during windy situations.I had to buy a porch light bulb converter since I don’t have an electrical outlet oustide my balcony so I can plug the LED lights. All I have to do is to flip up the switch from the inside to turn on the lights and it works great.I just bought a smart dimmer to change my light switch inside because I think these LED light bulbs are just too bright for my intention and the deisred effect. I have yet to receive the dimmer from Amazon in 2 days and then install it.The bulbs feel durable because they are made of plastic and not the very old fashion ones. They are also waterproof since it rained very hard here a couple of days after my installation and no water got inside the bulbs.The light bulbs are all LEDs so they are indeed cost efficient should you decide to turn them on at dusk and that’s what I planned to do that’s why I bought a smart dimmer switch to program it to turn on at dusk and turn off at 5:30 am everyday.I definitely recommend this string of outdoor LED light bulbs. I got mine on sale for $21.00 during Black Friday and I am very happy with it.

Best quality, great value, highly recommended. We’ve had them up for almost a year with some pretty hairy storms and we have not had a single issue. Look great too.You can connect hundreds of feet together (we did 400), despite recommendation being max 96.Make sure you string tension wire up first to provide stability.Make sure you have very strong foundation/anchor points, especially if you’re covering distances over 20 feet (each of our runs is about 50 feet)

Working Great!
Easy to install and good cord length between lights. Excellent quality and durability. The whole set has been through many heavy rain storms and high winds outside, attached to a privacy fence for over 6 months. All lights working every night on a timer. Remember to tighten the outside plastic light covers on each bulb as stated in the instructions…some take a few turns to tighten! Completely heavy rain proof after tightening.

Beautiful
I was a bit skeptical about the quality due to the low cost, but I’m very happy with these lights. I put these up over my pool about 5 months ago. All the bulbs still work. I have yet to see evidence of water getting into the outer bulb/cover. I would however recommend that you not only test the bulbs before hanging them, but remove the outer bulb/cover and give each bulb an extra turn to be sure they are tight. Then put the outer bulb/covers on and torque them down pretty good. Especially if you are hanging them in a difficult to reach like I did.

We enjoy the light these put out to our balcony. The packing was a little unwieldy and I felt the cords could have wrapped a little tighter to the bulbs because I’m lazy about hanging them. If you like the shape, these are probably a good pick.

Perfect replacement for non-LED outdoor light
These lights were purchased as a replacement for similar incandescent lights. The incandescent lights that were installed previously went out due to occasional high winds. Overall these new lights have had no problems with moderate impacts from being blown around.The only slight negative is the loop for hanging these lights is actually quite close to the bulb which limits how far down you can place them on an overhang without being more complex than just a single nail. Overall, a great replacement for traditional bulbs that have been performing much better.

Excellent quality at a great price!
The are simply terrific lights that were effortless to install. I think because of some older reviews mentioning the lights not working if the bulbs weren’t screwed in tightly enough, that maybe they were getting a higher number of returns for “defective” lights that weren’t actually defective, that the decided to install the bulbs at the factory. I’m merely speculating, but it would make sense. In any case, the bulbs are in fact already (and properly) installed, so it’s just a matter of hang it up and plug it in.I also used a TP-Link Kasa Outdoor Smart Dimmer so that I can voice control and schedule the lights. The bulbs themselves give off next to no heat at all and they can be dimmed.

I’ve been using these lights in my patio for approximately 5 months now. I bought them because we made some upgrades to the patio, and they look fantastic. I’ve received many compliments from my neighbors. Being not made of glass, the material seems quite durable. But it gives the illusion that the bulbs are made of glass. I definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to place them in the patio or anywhere else in their home. They add a very pleasant touch.

Love the lights
I hung the lights on my pergola for added light and then use a dimmer, so I can play cards with bright light or dim down for ambient lighting. They were rolled into 3 separate strands, so follow directions on how to unroll and hang and I didn’t have any trouble with them getting tangled up. Easy to use out of box and as others stated, a few bulbs were not working because they were loose, I just tightened them and that was all it took. Great purchase.

Pretty & Sturdy
I hung these yesterday, so I can’t speak to long term durability, but when they clanked together as I unraveled them, they gave off a sound that made me believe they really are shatter proof! They look really pretty, and the light is kind of soft and almost romantic, which I like. I had to hang mine against my fence to protect them from my boys playing soccer and baseball, so the light doesn’t cast across the space as much as it would if they were suspended above. The price I pay for two happy, active boys. 🙂

Not Really Suited For Responsible Outdoor Application.
Caveat Emptor, buyer beware. The depiction is one with what appears to be 12 gauge wiring on the ad. When I opened the package- it was 16-18 gauge indoor lamp cord, an IMMEDIATE RED FLAG! While some might be comfortable with it, code in many municipalities call for heavier gauge wiring for outdoor use the constant sun exposure would certainly be an issue as would the wind which could certainly wreak havoc with the integrity of the wiring. This was a hard pass and quicker return!

Basic and Solid for the Price
With these, you get what you pay for. They’re really easy to use, you just plug it in and go, so if you want to turn them on and off without unplugging them, you have to use some sort of external timer system. Otherwise, they’re really solid, and the bulbs def don’t break when dropped, as I’ve learnt.

Beautiful lights, but puzzling replacement bulb cost
These lights looked great on our deck. I liked the 6 feet plug since we needed that to reach the receptible. They worked perfectly …for about a year, used every evening and night. Then suddenly bulbs began blowing, obviously half of them reached their life expectancy at the same time! When we looked for replacement bulbs, I was a little puzzled why 4 replacement bulbs cost nearly $20, but for about $10 more I can buy another identical string light? We were also perplexed as to why there appeared to be a small amount of liquid inside the bulbs a year later that weren’t there when new. Now we are faced with the decision- another string light or replacement bulbs- which is the best value for our money. We really did like these lights, but also want to have reasonable replacement bulb costs for future needs.

I strung them across my backyard, zigzagging from the house to some 8-foot tall 1×4 planks attached to my fence. A quick tip for those considering a similar setup, I highly recommend using twisted steel cable across the span for secure anchoring, then attach the lights to the cable. It works brilliantly and ensures the lights remain taut and steady.The setup process was straightforward and user-friendly, and the end result truly enhanced the aesthetic appeal of my outdoor space. These LED lights exude a warm, inviting glow and the Edison-style bulbs add a charming vintage touch. Their shatterproof feature is an added bonus, offering peace of mind for outdoor usage.However, there’s a minor design issue that potential buyers should be aware of. The end of the string with the plug features about 6 feet of wire without any lights. This can disrupt the uniform spacing of the lights when attaching them end-to-end, as it creates an extended gap between the last bulb of one string and the first bulb of the next. I had to do a bit of adjusting and planning to ensure an evenly spaced layout.Despite this small hitch, these LED Outdoor String Lights are a fantastic addition to my backyard. They not only illuminate the space effectively but also lend it a warm, magical ambiance. Just be sure to factor in the 6 feet of light-less wire when planning your layout. Temporary Use Only
150’ for $49.99 seemed like a good price, until I saw they were for temporary use only. Nothing in the description stated that they could only be up for 90 days, but the CAUTION sticker on the cord says that. I want to put them up and leave them till I replaced them, in a yr or two. The $20 tiny led fairy lights I took down had been up for 5 yrs and were still working.

Good outdoor lights that we’ve had for a while
We bought these right after we finished building our new deck. They are the perfect glow for evening hangouts, just to add some light to our dark backyard. They are plenty long and have lasted us quite a long time without having to make any major — or even minor — adjustments. I’d reccomend them! They’re good outdoor lights!

Not many bulbs
The lights are good quality, and easy to hang….but on 50 feet of cord there’s only 14 bulbs. Huge gaps between bulbs and it just looks a bit silly in smaller spaces. (I hung them in my goat barn)

One of the bulbs was out (tried tightening and switching to a different receptacle… no luck).Slightly disappointed when I requested (twice) a replacement “spare” bulb. Better value than the box stores
Have had these for several weeks hanging up outdoors along a patio fence. The rain and weather have caused no issues. The bulbs are a classic Edison style and the have a durable plastic surround. When the set comes out of the box all the bulbs are installed but a few are loose, but it’s an easy fix to unscrew the outer surround and tighten down the bulb. The plastic design is great for durability and it gets rid of the risk of having glass everywhere, when a bulb breaks, so not a bad option for settings with kids and pets.

Quality Control?
The light string arrived stuffed in a jumble in the box, which took about 20 minutes to unravel. The box did contain an extra bulb that I used to replace the one burned out bulb in the string of 24. I have to question the quality control procedures used for Chinese-made products. But the lights do work now and are brighter than expected. Amazon asks buyers to rate the longevity one day after purchase(??). We’ll have to wait and see on that count.

Lights are REALLY far apart
They work great. Super bright. The non-shatter bulbs are awesome. The lights are just spaced REALLY far apart, so know that going into it. I understood the measurements, it just didn’t hit me visually until I put them up, but we just doubled up on them and it’s fine.
