Great Product, Great Support Service
We live in AZ – very hot in summer. We put this above ground pool inside the gazebo. The product is very sturdy; it has good quality netting and curtain materials. We had a small issue with the net stitching and the customer service resolved it immediately. I definitely recommend the Purple Leaf gazebos!

Looks nice now that it is up and finished
This gazebo comes in 4 boxes. I was missing box 1 and the reached out to the seller who followed up with me immediately. It had gotten stuck at the FedEx facility and they informed me that it should be along in a few days as they were pushing FedEx to get it to me. Sure enough, it did show up in a few days. The reason I was pushing was because I had hired someone to install it for me and we only had a few days window of time with good weather before it rained again.I had hired 2 guys to install it and it took them 2 days to complete it. One day for the frame and one day to put the roof on.This gazebo has a gutter system so the rain will drain down the back instead of each side. So far, so good. It’s raining cats and dogs today and it seems to be keeping up.Another thing that I really like is the width of the tie-back for the curtains. It keeps them nice and snug without looking like it’s struggling. I need the privacy curtains on one side as I have a nosy neighbor that sits in his driveway looking my way. But I like to keep it open on the other 3 sides so I can see my hummingbirds and flowers in my yard.Overall, I am very pleased with the customer service of this company as well and the finished product. I would suggest, however, to hire someone to put this together for you as the instructions, or so I’m told from the installer, are pictures only.

Solid Gazebo
First it seems complicated it’s really not I did most of it by myself getting help for the roof panels.Customer Service is 5 stars. I had 1 bad part and some bent panels, they immediately responded took care of the issue and I had the part I needed to finish quickly. If for no other reason I would buy from them again.

Great Gazebo and Customer service but intstallation is not quick
Once it is built it is very sturdy and looks just like pictures. The customer service was great, and very proactive during the delivery and building phase. That said before you buy here is a realistic expectation of what it takes• Comes in 4 boxes each around 80-95 pounds so about 350 pounds of stuff total• There are about 750-1000 parts when you count screws nuts and such• It took my wife and I about 10 hours to assemble, and we have put together our fair share of furniture and other projects, but we are still married after it is over so not awful.• The roofing is by far the hardest part. There are a few screws that I had to stand on the top of the ladder and reach all the way over to get in while my wife was on the inside trying to align something else.• You need to secure each piece of roofing as you go not align them first as the instructions imply or the slights puff of wind will have things falling down and you getting to test your 4 letter vocabulary.Overall we are very happy with the product and the quality but like most of these the directions are 4 “steps” but 60 pages and not the easiest to understand. If you are going to do it yourself block off a weekend check all the pieces first to make sure you have everything and think happy thoughts.

Very good quality
I went with this pergola because it was the only one that was permanent. If you read the other specs it’s stated to disassemble before high winds. This one was also the only one rated with a snow load. I live in the NE and don’t want to keep taking it apart every fall and putting it together in the spring

12×20 black with grey curtains
The media could not be loaded.
The roof was a bit confusing and the instructions are pictures only. Once we got it all together we love it and are pleased with our purchase. It seems well made but I don’t have anything to compare it to. Customer service was great. It came in 7 boxes and we extremely well packaged. It was all delivered on the same day. We would recommend.

installed alone
Purchased a 12 x 18 and installed it on our main floor deck. I put it together all alone and took about 20 hours or so. It can be done with a little forethought and the help of a homemade stand on top of our picnic table to hold the upper roof to install the framing. Saw numerous remarks about the plastic roof parts being a pain because they fall off. I tried one panel and after a few tries I decided to us CA glue with the activator and that worked great.Only negatives I have are about the instructions which for the most part are just fine. Only thing I would change or suggest one thinks about ahead of time is if I did this again I would not install them until last. There is no reason they need to go in as per the instructions but if left out it would have helped tremendously with lining up the tops of the roof panels into the channel.Another is the sealing of the gutter seams. It come after the roof is completed in section 4. I wished I had done it as soon as the gutters and legs were up. It is a tight fit to reach under the roof panels. The only other issue was possibly because of the hot weather. The roof panels may have expanded just a little and after a couple are in the holes did not line up well. Alsy the notches on panel 8 was off by 1/4 inch, I think this may have been the heat.Just finished yesterday so I don’t know yet if there are any leaks. Overall, I am pleased.

Excellent Customer Service – Packaging Needs Improvement
Three of our friends who have the same unit. We liked the look and build quality of their gazebos so we place our order for a 10′ x12′ unit. The unit arrived quickly in 5 boxes delivered by FedEx. The first thing we encountered when opening the boxes was damage to the four pillars. Each of them had small dents with one that was badly dented. After contacting Purple Leaf and sending photos of the damage they promptly sent out 4 new pillars. Damage to these parts could have been prevented by improving the packaging. There was no protective foam, carboard etc to protect the parts, just some flimsy foam paper.Once the new pillars arrived, we got to work putting it together. Overall, the instructions (pictures) were quite good. Take your time and compare the photos to the parts you have and you should be good to go. As mentioned by other purchasers, it was very helpful to place the numerous nuts and bolts into plastic containers and label them. Some bolts are slightly longer than others so pay attention. As we continued the assembly, we came across a few other parts that were bent, again a function of poor packaging and the shipping process. We were able to make it work and now have some additional living space on our property.Throughout the process, Purple Leaf reached out to us to see how we were making out and if there was anything we required. In recognition of the damaged parts and the inconvenience Purple Leaf offered a discount to make things right.I highly recommend this company for their excellent customer service. If they could get the manufacturer to the improve packaging this gazebo would be a home run.

Solid product, great customer service
Once we ordered our gazebo, a Purple Leaf representative contacted us by e-mail to thank us. They tracked shipping along with us and, once the 7 boxes started to arrive (they all arrived on separate days, but within a day or two of each other), they wanted to assure that no boxes were damaged. We did have one damaged box, but the product was not affected. Assembly was lengthy and a little rough, but we knew this when we purchased it. We didn’t have any major problems. Instructions are pretty easy to follow. A few days after we had received the last box, the representative wanted to know if we had any problems with the product, specifically if we noticed any damage. We advised them that there were a few small dents and dings, but they didn’t affect assembly or the overall appearance of the gazebo. They gave us a small, partial refund, which we felt was very generous of them. It is noted somewhere (either the instructions or product listing, or both) that the gazebo can withstand 40 mph winds. Well, we had a storm the other night in which wind speeds were up to 90 mph. The gazebo and the curtains made it through just fine. I will add that we have a line of trees about 50 yards behind the gazebo that I believe shielded the gazebo, and our house, some from the wind. We are very pleased with our gazebo and can’t wait to spruce up our outdoor living space!!

Best gazebo around!!
We love our 10×12 gazebo we put it over our 8×8 hottub and it is perfect. The construction of it is very solid and I love the built in gutters its nice in the fall right now on rainy evenings since it keeps the water from running down all four sides and splashing all over the place on the hot tub and the curtains. It was a lot to put together , it wasn’t hard at all it was just alot of peices but instructions and all the parts went together great. Highly reccomend purple leaf gazebos if you want a solid gazebo that will last you. Thanks again

Follow the instructions!
My son-in-law and I spent about 10 hours putting together this 12′ x12′ gazebo. I still have to hang the netting and curtains. There are a lot of parts, screws and bolts and nuts. I had the gazebo (4 boxes) shipped to my home even though it was going to be installed at our lake property 120 miles away. I wanted to make sure there wasn’t any damage to the boxes. There were a few tears in the boxes. Only one looked bad. Purple Leaf did compensate me for a dent in one of the pieces. They were so very helpful with all the questions I asked before and after the install. They even sent me some PDF files of the installation instructions so I was able to review them ahead of time. We used cordless drills with Allen bits (sold separately) to do the install. I can’t imagine doing it with the Allen wrenches that they supply. Make sure you follow the instructions carefully. We made the mistake of tightening things down only later to loosen some screws so things would line up better. Also, watch bolts and nuts #6 and #7, they looked the same length to me and we used some in the wrong places. You may want to separate all the bolts and screws into bags or containers so they don’t get mixed up. We ended up using three ladders. I think two would have been fine but using three meant we didn’t have to move any one ladder too far.Overall, I am very pleased with the look of the gazebo and the quality of the build. I would highly recommend buying from Purple Leaf. Their customer support is amazing.

Awesome gazebo
We purchased this gazebo after reading some reviews. We could not have been more pleased with the gazebo and the company. We ordered it thru Amazon and it arrived in 3 days. We unloaded the boxes from FedEx onto my truck to move to the area where we assembled it. It took us two weeks to put it together but I am 77 years old and my wife 73. Due to the heat we only worked about 3 hours a day but was in no hurry. The assembly went smoothly and there were no missing or damaged parts. All boxes were packed to protect the parts. If there was a negative side it was the assembly manual. We had a few questions and the company answered them quickly. Purple Leaf was there for us thru every step of the assembly and even after the the gazebo was complete they continued to communicate with us. The gazebo is awesome. If there was anything that we found to make assembly easier would be have a couple of tapered punched to help with lining the holes up on the roof panels. The quality of the gazebo. the assembly process and the communication from the company was outstanding. Taking our time was a real benefit for us.

20’x12’ Love it
Fairly easy to build. Maybe 20 hours. Mostly by myself. My wife helped with the roof panels. Worked on it early mornings and afternoons when it cooled down. The delay was after building the frame, we realized the screen door didn’t clear. I called to see if they offered a way to raise it up enough to clear the door. They advised me to use cement blocks. We used cement fence caps which are 2” thick. Drilled them then cut them. Had to buy longer cement anchors. Only available in 3/8 in 5” length. Problem solved. There were a few pieces that had small damage. Was able to straighten. Not noticeable at all. Only other problem was one curtain was missing 2 metal eyelets. Contacted Purple Leaf. They offered me a credit and a link to order a kit to repair it. I didn’t think it would hold so they sent out a new curtain. Oh and also the measurements they give for leg spacing is incorrect. I used a level on all 6 legs before I anchored it down. We are very pleased with the looks and the quality. So far not affected by high winds. Chose this one cause of the reviews about Purple Leafs customer service. 👍🏼

Excellent Product Support and Gazebo
In early March we ordered two of the 12’ x 16’ gray gazebos and they were received within a week. However due to many health and weather issues on our part we weren’t able to unpack or install until April 22nd. PURPLE Leaf support contacted us immediately after delivery to make sure all boxes (10) arrived and showed no signs of damage, which they did. However, I explained we weren’t able to open or install for over six weeks, I was concerned we wouldn’t know if there was any damaged or missing parts and asked if they would still support us if there were. They said of course and throughout the following 6 weeks emailed me multiple times to see our progress. The day of installation, since we were installing two, we had 4 men and a few of us “sideline helpers” and unpacked the boxes. We followed all directions taking NO shortcuts, and in a total of 15 hours completed installation. There were a few minor dents in a couple of legs which we were able to put in places where they weren’t really noticeable. Support emailed me first think Monday morning to see how installation went and if we had any issues, when I mentioned the small dents, they instantly offered replacement of damaged parts. Since our gazebos were completed we declined and they made an adjustment refund for our inconvenience and the damage. All I can say is WOW what an amazing company to work with. They were great to work with, our gazebos are beautiful and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend both the product and this company.

Easy assembly? Yes, as easy as it could possibly be!
I’m 62 years old. I’ve seen junk and I’ve seen products that far exceeded my expectations. Everything about this product has been amazingly positive. 5 huge heavy boxes needed to get to me in good shape and each and every package was flawless when they got to me. Thats not because UPS read the fragile print and was careful. It’s because they did things like taping the plastic strapping to the box so the 5-6 straps keeping the boxes secure were unable to be torn off as the boxes are bounced around. The direction! Fantastic directions for a task this complex. So pleasantly surprised by the fit & finish of EVERY part. They supplied lock nuts for the bolts that hold the screens in the roof. They didn’t have to do that, but they went and did a little more than they had to! Is it easy? I have to say I would give this thing a 3 out of 10 on the WTF scale. If you think you might own a screwdriver but you’re not sure, don’t try to assemble this. If you have assembled at least 5 bicycles as gifts and all the people that used them are alive? You are qualified to assemble this Gazebo! I am just so surprised by how nice it is to have EVERYTHING fit like it shows in the pictures! I am not completely done with the assembly of this wonderful structure, but I am in love with what I’ve seen so far!!! There is some stepladder work so please be careful! I’m an EH&S manager, I had to say that! Have a ridiculously safe assembly of a fantastic Gazebo!

Great investment
Looks as good in person as it does online. My landscape team of 4 put it together and needed 2 ladders and a drill. Our next step is to remove the bricks it’s on and cement into the ground (so it won’t blow away). Love it and how big it is!

Doesn’t trap the heat
We love this gazebo. My biggest hesitation in buying it was my fear that the black roof would concentrate the sun rays and make sitting under it unbearably hot. This hasn’t happened despite temps over 100 degrees. Of course it is hot outside, but no hotter in the gazebo than the ambient temperature. Possibly if the gazebo was in a corner where there is no air flow, heat may be trapped, but that isn’t our case. In cooler weather we sit outside and love the dog run effect of the breeze flowing through the gazebo. We did pay to have it assembled (November 2022) as we are in our 70’s and past the DIY days. It took one man and his apprentice about 8 hours. They were familiar with the product and had zero difficulties. It withstood our torrential winter rainstorms perfectly, and as I said, is doing fine in our blistering heat. I had hoped that the included mosquito netting would help block the bright sun as it lowered in the sky, but no luck.My only regret is that we didn’t buy the larger 12’x20’ size. Our deck is big enough and the 12’x18’ is fine, but, in this case, bigger would have been even better.

Very Nice Gazebo 12×16
My experience, so far, with this gazebo has been very good. The 6 boxes arrived within 4 days of placing the order. The 6 boxes arrived in 3 different shipments. Boxes were not damaged and inside contents were perfect. All the pieces were in the boxes–no issues.Instructions were easy to follow, just think thru the process. I did read several other reviews prior to assembling the gazebo and I found it valuable.First, when you install the roof supports, I found it easier to add the supports in the center of each side before adding the roof supports in each corner.Second, and probably the best thing I learned in my building of the gazebo, was to use Gorilla Glue Gel to secure the rubber spacers to the roof support before installing the roof panels. This worked extremely well to keep the spaces in place over the holes for the bolts as you install each roof panel.Third, the manual does not specify in which order the roof panels can be/should be installed. I installed roof panels on the 2 long sides first, then the 2 short sides.I was able to complete the build in 2 days, with the help of my neighbor. Over the 2 days, about 13 hours total. Its been 3 days since we completed the build and I am very happy with the gazebo. We are going to be buying some new patio furniture as well and look forward to many enjoyable years using the gazebo.

Everything I expected from delivery to final product
Everything about the product is well made and packaged excellent. there were also some follow up from the company If I had any questions. there’s a lot to go into from a detail point of view and I had every intention of doing it here to try to help future purchases of this product. Maybe I can follow up at a later date. I did take a lot of photos. I will say this, I was able to assemble it – most of it myself and I am somewhat of a DIY’er to a fault but there are definitely assembly points here that will require two people. One is the first couple of assembly pieces, then moving it into position, and third would be putting up the first few sections of the roof. My advice is to follow the instructions closely, the detail was accurate. However, the roof panels will be the most challenging, they come with these plastic clips that hold it into place and I think that help protect from the elements. if I were to do it again, I would have probably glued them to the roof panels as opposed to letting them clip on. It’s not ideal, but is possible with a little patience. also do not tighten anything as the instructions say you do need a lot of play in the metal as you continue to put things together. I will follow up if I have a chance but if there any questions that I can answer, I will check back

Went from a solid 3-stars to luke-warm 4
The gazebo is very generic-looking. Structurally good, but moderately difficult to assemble for two mature folk (73 & 80 y.o.). Took us 4-days of steady effort. Packaging was adequate for structural elements, but the blister packs of fasteners were both damaged and three hours of sorting and counting. (Maybe review should be 3-minus.) The instructions are a 50-page+ book of pictures, with minimal text. Some mis-marked parts made interpretation fun, in an odd sort of way. Way too many parts that should be worked into the design. Some parts do not fit together as intended, but can be remedied on site with a bit of ingenuity and common sense. Seller customer service has met or exceeded expectations. We haven’t yet hung the curtains/screens and don’t yet know how dry it will be in SC deluge. Maybe more, later. We’re hoping follow-up service, if necessary, will offset the upfront cost ($2.2k) Do your due-diligence before purchasing, but product does seem adequate. The curtain and screens are nicely made. The hangers snap into grommets and the fabric hangs nicely.

Great design, easy assembly, sturdy, assembly instruction great
This 10×12 gazebo from purple leaf is great addition to our backyard. Me and my wife assemble it in 4 days , 3 hrs each day. We had the hex drill bit and gun drill machine which makes job easier. The packages were great and delivered in 5 boxes. There was no missing pieces. One of the 4 pillars and couple of roofs have a tiny dent. But they are not major. Customer care support from purple leaf has been great in answering questions via Amazon app and they adjusted the price a little bit for those dented pieces. We had slight trouble to attach the plastic clips(z, z3, z4 etc) as they were falling off but we find a way later point of time to avoid the hassles . All you need to do is first join the middle pieces on the roof then do the corner one. All parts and pieces are nicely engineered and fit perfectly. The netting and curtain is a plus. It looks amazing. Now will wait to see if it survives next winter as its very windy and rain in California during winter time. Highly recommend this product.

Right Choice!
Gazebos cautiously researched online, reviews consulted, was a previous PurpleLeaf umbrella buyer. Seeking best value, started with 10’x12′ for spa – need those quality grey side curtins that match our new home!, upsized it to 12’x16′ for the extra shade & useful space. Will add LED lighting inside. Asked for 10% sale discount price match and got it. Great customer service for responsiveness and courtesy! Order came early via FedEx, 5 boxes somewhat beat up with some twisted metal end pieces (easily straightened) and one big scratch/dent, but parts seems complete, so far so good. The aluminum/powder coated steel structure seems adequate for the purpose and looks great but could use some touchup paint for those spots where minor abraisions occurred. Conflicting specs say 40 mph then 30 mph wind loading – I hope the safety factor its good for twice that! Nice finish, sturdy when assembled, good not great assembly instructions. Did frame assembly in garage all by myself (I like puzzles!) will probably complete it all by myself. I’m a fan of PurpleLeaf products and highly recommend them.Update: took me about 3 partial working days to assemble. Watch the roof rafters, they have different drill hole placements, had to switch 4 of them when installing the roof panels. Did the whole job by myself with a 6′ ladder, telescopic 12′ ladder, stood atop the spa (used a pallet) but had a friend hold the inside nuts for final torquing. Use the sealing compound around the 8 rafter/roof joins to block the light. All parts arrived with a few bonus hardware and plastic items. Scratch was luckily covered over by metal trim!Overall very satisfied with the final product. Well suited for our purpose. 5 star for value, quality, service. Thank you, Purple Leaf!Suggestion: Provide weights or tie downs for blowing/billowing curtains. Also cannot tie back single side open curtains only the netting.

Worth the time to put it together.
This has been a great gazebo. It took my very handy husband and son almost two full days to put it together, he said he followed the instructions, but he wishes the roof instructions were a little more clear in that you should start from the middle panels and work your way out. He also said be careful when tightening roof, don’t go too hard or you will have little buckles. It arrived in 6 boxes over two days and while the Amazon notification said delivered I reached out to seller and asked to get all the tracking which they provided quickly and easily. My husband also did a lot of research by reading the reviews and watched you tube videos to help. Overall I think it is worth the money and we are happy with it.

Great directions, fairly easy to assemble with 2 people
Excellent product. Great customer service. Original box 1 of 7 was damaged and part K1 was badly damaged beyond repair. Customer service quickly sent out a replacement. Over all the directions are great and parts are well marked. Assembled it with only 1 other person and many parts I was able to do by myself. Only needed a second person for holding the top in place while I screwed in the screws to hold it up and to hold the bottom of the nut for some of the higher screws that needed to be installed on the roof panels where my arms were not long enough to hold the nut while tightening the screw. A few lessons learned, when installing the screen and cover it is easier to take the panels and separate them rather than trying to put them up while all attached.

Outdoor space transformed
We love our cabanaWe watched the video in you tube everyone wrote about however, I feel that a lot of the issues the video pointed out have been fixed. The only issue we had is one of the bars the hole was drilled in wrong place and we drilled a new hole I am sure I could have called and fit a replacement piece but it was easy to do and not lose days putting together. My son built the frame as I unboxed and sorted all the products first day 7 hoursSecond day we had three people working on it approx 9 hours and third day three taking about 10 hours so it did take us all day Friday Saturday and Sunday but we were working in 110 type heat with no shade. I am thrilled with the quality other than the one hole to re-drill, there were no bent or scratched pieces, all was packed very well. This thing is amazing and I do recommend.

I wish I would’ve gotten this years ago!
After reading other buyers reviews, I decided it was best to open all 6 boxes, sort and check to make sure I had all pieces before starting. Each lettered section was wrapped together yet separate from other sections. I kept the foam wrapping on them and wrote the piece letter on the foam and then tried to line them up as close to alphabetical as I could within my space. This was SUCH a lifesaver once we began assembly. Most of the construction was simple and directions were somewhat easy to follow. The roof was a bit challenging as we had to make a few adjustments to get some of the pieces to fit. The instructions say you’ll need a screw driver and a level. (We didn’t use either of those) and this comes with Allen wrenches. We used a tape measure rather than a level and since there are hundreds of screws, you will definitely want an electric screw driver. When the directions say, “don’t over tighten” make sure you listen as you’ll need whatever part is loose to be adjustable later. So now that the work is done, we absolutely LOVE our new gazebo. It’s going to be perfect for keeping the setting sun off of us when we eat outside in the summer, it’s also going to be nice having some protection agains mosquitoes and the chilly night air without actually having to go in. We will have to add some lighting as it gets very dark with the curtains closed which reminds me… we can use this as a changing area for the pool as well. Since we live in a state with crazy weather… we haven’t begun to enjoy the summer heat and festivities yet, but we are very excited to have this up and ready for when we do. I plan to buy another for our back deck and I think it will look just as great!

Looks great and very good quality
The parts fit well and everything lined up as it was supposed to. Two of the boxes took a beating from Fed-x and the with some minor bending of roof panels and two of the screw packages broke open and some screws were lost through the holes Fed-x punched in the boxes. The panels (5 of them) were easily straightened with a body hammer and dolly. The lost button head cap screws are not easy to find at a hardware store but I was able to find them on Amazon for about $12. The powder coating is thick and even, (no thin spots). The instructions lack written detail but have outstanding diagrams. Overall, a well made gazebo and a fair price. The company seems to care as they reached out to me after I reported the damage. Oh, one weird thing, one of the roof panels was black (instead of dark gray) but it was the smallest panel in the corner and is not visible.

Great product and worth the expense, but be patient
ORDER AND DELIVERY: I got the 10×14 and it came in 6 boxes. 5 of the 6 boxes were delivered less than 48 hours after I placed my order and the last box was delivered three days after that.BOXES AND LABELING: Boxes are clearly labeled 1/6, 2/6, 6/6 and etc. However, the boxes are not packaged and numbered according to in what order you need to use each piece. For instance, the first or second set of parts you need to assemble may be in box 4/6. It would have been helpful if each box were labeled with which part letters were in the box. I found myself spending some time digging thru the boxes to find the part letter that I needed.ASSEMBLY AND TIME: The more people you have to help with assembly the better. I would absolutely say that two people are a minimum. It took 18 hours to assemble. An instruction/assembly booklet did come with the product and it was packaged in box 3/6. I would not advise jumping ahead while going through the steps because it will make some parts not fit the way they are supposed to later. Two free standing ladders aren’t a must, but I highly recommend it and it would be very difficult without two. The product only came with allen wrench/hex key, but a drill made all of the difference given the fact that there are over 400 screws. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS.ADVICE: 1. DO NOT completely tighten all of the screws as you work through the steps. We found that alot of screws we had completely tightened needed to be loosened to make other parts fit later. 2. In addition, the instructions call for the cap on the topper to be placed early on. However, when it was time to put the metal on the topper, the cap had to be removed before the metal would slide into the track. 3. If your are having trouble getting the metal to fit/slide into the tracks or the screw holes won’t line up, it may be because the frame isn’t 100% level or square (even if you think it is). Although you may be tempted, DO NOT cut the metal to make it fit. It isnt fitting and the holes arent lining up for a reason.BIGGEST PAINS: 1. The rubber stoppers that you have to install under the metal. There are alot of them and they slide. 2. The plastic guards that have to attach to the ends of the metal. There are also alot of them and they constantly pop off when trying to get the metal to slide in the track(s).OTHER: Although there are three holes per post, the product does not come with bolts/screws to anchor the gazebo to a deck or etc. It would have also been nice to have some sort of covering for the bottom of the corner posts to make it look smooth. Therefore, the bolts/screws that you use to anchor the gazebo are completely exposed because there is no cover for the bottom of the corner posts. *Note: when buying something to anchor with, DO NOT get soft metal lag screws, they will snap off at the head. Instead, get a high quality heavy metal.REGRET: Wish I would have gotten a bigger one.OVERALL: Yes, assembly took ALOT of time and effort, but I am extremely pleased with this product. It is of great quality for the expense. It is steardy and looks nice. I would buy this again and will recommend. While installing, be patient, do not rush and the outcome will be great.

Awesome gazebo! We are finally loving being out on our patio!
What a great purchase! This Purple Leaf hardtop gazebo is the best investment we could have made to enjoy our too hot patio. Years of buying various canvas/nylon covered smaller gazebos never solved our problem of being way too hot sitting outside on summer days. All the models with “material” roofs turned into saunas when we tried to sit or eat outside. Finally, this year, we discovered this hardtop gazebo by Purple Leaf and read the reviews! Everyone LOVED it. So we thought it would be worth a try especially considering that the frame could stay up even in winter and should withstand snow. So far, it’s fantastic! The high roof and vents keep us shaded and ventilated. Rain doesn’t go through it so you (or lawn furniture) actually stay dry. The curtains are also quality. The shipping was fast and everything arrived in good shape. Now, for the assembly. Components came very well organized and nicely labeled but what ALOT OF PARTS! I was really nervous when i realized how involved building it would be. However, my husband (with bad knees) and a younger contractor friend put it together without too many issues because luckily they are both VERY mechanical and handy . The assembly took 2 1/2 full days and lots of up and down on a ladder. It was not a project for the meek. We were very organized and put all nuts and bolts in labeled containers and had all sorts of tools at the ready. We watched a couple videos on YOU TUBE showing assembly and that was helpful. The seller was extremely responsive…we were missing a few screws (which didn’t hinder the process at all really) and emailed them and two days later the screws arrived. Great product, quality construction and beautiful! November 2022- Update after 55″ of wet heavy snow in our Buffalo area…our Purple Leaf gazebo is STILL STANDING strong. We did borrow a roof rake and tried to take off what we could during this 3 day storm but there was constant snowfall and a residual two feet on the gazebo AND IT DIDN’T COLLAPSE! We are so pleased! Thank you Purple Leaf. Quality product!

Great once you get all the parts
The final assembled product looks great and is durable. We’ve had it over a year and no issues. It even made it through a couple of snow storms. The issues we’re getting all the parts and not getting pre-damaged parts (not shipping damage). There were missing parts and fasteners and damaged roof sections in the initial delivery of the several boxes in came in. However, their customer service was excellent. The sent all the parts needed. They didn’t just send the missing parts but sent the entire box where those parts would have come in. So now we quite a few spares. Also, the instructions could be better, especially for the roof assembly.I would recommend assembling the roof without completely tightening the screws until all is assembled and you measure the structure corner to diagonally opposite corner to make sure you have a rectangular structure and not a parallelogram.

Great Gazebo…Great Customer Service
We decided to get rid of our soft-top 10×12 gazebo, wanting a hard-top, and chose the Purple Leave 12×20 hardtop. The quality of the materials and quality of the fabrication of the components of the Purple Leaf gazebo are great. When the gazebo was delivered, I’ll admit I was a bit nervous about what I gotten myself into because it came in 7 large boxes. Assembling our old gazebo, and other pieces of furniture that I have purchased and assembled, I usually end up mad and cursing the engineers who designed it because the pieces don’t fit together, and the rest of the family stays away while I’m doing that type of work. But honestly, the Purple Leaf gazebo assembled relatively easily, the parts fit together nicely…it is very well engineered and fabricated. I won’t say it was a cake walk, at 12×20 there are a lot of pieces and it takes a bit of time (a couple hours after work for a few days and then all day Saturday) and it does take two people at times due to the large size and the roof for sure takes two people…but the instruction book is well done and they have a video on YouTube (and there are other videos) that greatly help. Also, you do need to think while assembling and leave some parts loose to allow for proper fit up and then tighten all later…for example, leave the columns/beam connections and the corner roof supports loose until you have them all assembled and the gazebo squared up, then tighten them all. I put it up at the end of the season when I took my old one down, so I didn’t put up the curtains yet and haven’t used/enjoyed it yet…but, from the materials, construction and assembly, I highly recommend this gazebo.Sorry for the review that is as long as a novel, but i need to review the customer service of Purple Leaf too. I ran into a problem right at the start because FedEx damaged a few of the boxes during shipment, and 7 pieces were damaged and needed to be replaced. The customer service at Purple Leaf were AWESOME!!! I emailed them, describing the problem, and I sent them pictures of the damaged parts. They responded to my email the next day and shipped the replacement parts out in just a couple days. I can’t remember the last company that I worked with that had great customer service like Purple Leaf.I can’t take better pictures than what are on the website, so I just included a couple in-progress photos. So again, I highly recommend the Purple Leaf gazebo and Purple Leaf customer service.

Beautiful and super roomy.
Love this gazebo! At 12×20, it’s quite large, which is what I wanted. The mesh curtains are nice but the tie backs have velcro on them which easy sticks to the mesh and destroys them instantly with pulls that cannot be repaired. A design flaw that greatly effects the curtains which cost $150 to replace. The canvas curtains are not waterproof, just barely water resistant so I suggest a waterproofing spray to help repel water. The assembly was cumbersome. The directions were absolutely horrible with ZERO written instructions, only pictures and numbers. My suggestion, do your due diligence and number your instructions. Don’t remove anybof the sticky number pieces until it is completely built in case you have damaged or missing parts so you can identify them later. I have several damaged pieces and contacted Purple Leaf, they dont have a phone number so I sent an email. I gave them seven different parts that needed replacement and they sent me an entire 150# box of items that I didn’t need. It was a nice gesture but it was still missing one of the parts that I requested. 😕 95% of the parts I received, were of no use and I ended up throwing them out. I think they did that to shut me up. Still waiting on one of the parts they never sent and it’s 6 weeks later so I may have to live with the damaged piece. The gazebo is very sturdy but I did find 2 areas that leak when it rains, nothing a little Flex Seal couldn’t handle. The drain areas are something that also needs a little redesign. Leaves and debris collects in the tiny holes and prevents the water from flowing thru. I used some mesh to help with that problem. Overall a very nice gazebo that’s sturdy but with minor design flaws. I would recommend 👌

Purple Leaf is awesome, but the product just misses the mark. Assembly can be a challenge
Product arrived quickly with 7 boxes. They are heavy and large so be sure to have a place to stage them when you receive them. My package came FedEx and they seemed to be in good condition on the outside. I used my shop as a staging area and we unpacked, inspected and inventoried every item. All items were received but we had some casualties. The worst one was the top cap that is at the top of the gazebo. It was severely bent and needed to be replaced. It was damaged due to how it is packed…the brace that holds the roof braces as well as the hooks for ceiling accessories is very sturdy and has some weight to it and it is ships packed within the top cap which is more ornamental and lighter weight. During shipping the brace just gets beat up the top cap. An email through the Amazon app to Purple Leaf, and they sent me the whole box with the replacement end cap, and all the other pieces that came in the box BTW, to me and it arrived in two days. Of course this top cap was damaged as well…due to the aforementioned packing, but I was able to use my metal working flat hammer to smooth it out. The other issue I had was a dented and damaged main outside beam and they did not replace, but they did refund me some money as a goodwill gesture.Yes many other items were dented slightly, but I was able to fix enough or it was behind something so it did not matter. I did have some roof panels that apparently has been scratched during manufacturing and you could see where they painted it…it was close but you could tell it was not the powder coating that is on rest of the gazebo.Assembly. The directions are all pictorial for the most part. There is some call outs, but mostly you are looking at pictures. During the assembly there is a lot of “what were they thinking” (such as the #6 screws that you have to put in towards the top of some of the lower section roof panels…you can not stand on a ladder and lay on the roof and unless you have Go-Go-Gadget arms, you will not be able to reach them. So I ended up getting on my tall ladder and removing the screen that is on the inside of the ceiling that goes around the top that keeps the bugs out….which I put in per the directions about 3 steps back…and was able to reach through and insert the screw and tighten (hint..put that screen up at the end of the assembly of the gazebo and not when they tell you). You better have some 12′ ladders BTW, because you will need them…along with a couple of friends to hold things in place and hand parts up to you unless you like going up and down ladders hundreds of times. Have a battery powered drill or two with a good clutch to vary the tightness as well. I am not sure why two allen wrenches and some cheapo open end wrenches are included because if you try to use these you will spend the rest of your life doing this assembly…there are at least 250 screws you will be tightening.Nothing really lines up. I did leave things on certain assemblies lose to allow for some adjustments but even that did not work. Putting on the roof, I did start in the center putting down the panels as instructed, but by the time I got to the end, the screws that hold the panels to the frame were seriously off… I actually had to trim some of the brackets to allow for more adjustments to get them to fit. These were the brackets on the longs sides of the gazebo…I trimmed the corners off the end brackets that attach to the side rails that hold the lower holes of the roof panels (where the #5 screws go into) and this allowed me another 1/2 inch of slide adjustment which was enough.Do yourself a favor and buy a tube of black silicone “caulk”. Do not use the slime they give you with the kit that come in a small tube with nothing but Chinese writing on it (its a head scratcher when you first get it). HINT- you are supposed to use this black slime to fill in the cracks along the top side of the main beams…these beams couple together and on top of them is the deep V that is the gutter….well the joints would leak, so they give you the caulk to fill them in…they show you this as one of the last steps of the assembly…DO NOT follow the instructions and do it at the end of the assembly of the whole gazebo! When you put the roof on you will not be able to get to all the joints fully…SO as soon as you assemble and erect the side beam onto the columns, go ahead and fill in the joints with your purchased silicone caulk (not the crap they sent!!) so you can make sure you can get them all sealed.Lets talk about the plastic tabs you put on the ends of the panels that fit into the tracks on the roof supports on the corners(these or the Z, Z1 and Z2 clips). These tabs will fall off constantly when you are trying to fit the panels into the slots. Do yourself a favor and get some CA glue with the separate accelerator (right here on Amazon…I use Starbond CM-150 medium thick with spray on accelerator). I am a woodworker so I buy this by the gross, so I used it after struggling with a panel were the tabs kept falling off…the glue held enough to allow me to install the panels with a lot less struggling. The roof panels are not made of the thickest of material. I am concerned about a simple hail storm and what may happen to the panels…there maybe nothing to worry about, but I am concerned juat the same. Why…when you tighten the screws down that hold the panels to the beams, you can not use more than strong finger pressure before you start to indent the metal ribs the screws go thru. I put my DeWalt drill on 1 on the clutch and that was as tight as I could go. I used the rubber inserts between the brace and the sheeting but but just would bend if you put much of any pressure on it at all. I actually started using Loctite on the screws so I could firm them down and then the Loctite would ensure they would not loosen up and fall off….I was not sure the tightness I had to use was tight enough to keep the nuts on.When I got it done, in the sunlight I could see light from under the roof…well lucky me I bought that tube of black caulk so I was able to seal those up and I think I am good.So where am I at on this.- You better be a handy person with a good set of tools- Have at least one set of extra hands to help…two is better. Maybe one person can do the smaller gazebos but the 12×20 I recommend helping hands- One 12-13′ ladder and a second 6′ at a minimum. Two 12′-13′ would be better because of the top assembly needing one person to hold while the other assembles- One screw gun. You will need two Allen bits and a Phillips bit. Buy extra Allen bits because you will wear one set out- Pair of metal cutters you may find handy- Pair of “Channel Locks” or similar to use to bend flanges, etc (making adjustments and bending parts back into shape)- A hammer with a flat face to tap out the dents- Tube of black silicone caulk.- Tape measure long enough to check for square 35 to 50′ for the 12 x 20′- CA Glue or some type of adhesive to hold the plastic clips to the metal roofing…nothing crazy, just enough to so you can assemble with the clips constantly falling off- DO NOT forget to get what ever fasteners you need to hold the gazebo to your decking or pad. They do not give you any. You will need at least 20.- Bring patience and have someone else go over the instructions with you to double check.- Adult beverages when you are done….not beforeMy conclusion. This is a way cheaper way to build a Gazebo of this size than trying to use wood and standard metal roofing. It looks good and it does provide shade. Time will tell if it is sturdy enough to withstand winds that you would expect from say a strong thunderstorm and survive a regular hail storm. Not sure about snow load but I think for us in NC it is okay with a 1000 weight limit. Folks in Hurricane zones or active Tornado zones…absolutely NOT! Time will tell.Do I recommend you stay away…no…just know what you are getting into and what you are getting. Being realistic about your abilities and what you are getting, you will likely be happy with it. If you are expecting a structure that is as sturdy as a house nope, but this is every bit as sturdy as the units in the big box stores and other retailers.Have fun!

Great gazebo!
My bride and I recently purchased and erected a 12 x 20 Purple Leaf gazebo. It arrived in 7 well packaged boxes. Prior to erecting all boxes were inventoried. One corner piece was missing. We notified Purple Leaf and the company immediately Fed Exed that item. We have had many days of rain since the gazebo was put up. It has not leaked. We are very pleased with the unit and the responsiveness of the company and highly recommend both. pat tillman

Worth every penny….
I bought this Dec’23 and got installed today, Jan’24. I had some land cleared in the back yard and wanted a gathering place. North Texas climate. This was adorable, and according to the installer simple to build and place. It came within a few days by Fed Ex. Good condition. Yes, I recommend this brand as best “bang for the buck”

Quality product and great looking
After we placed our order, Purple Leaf messaged us they had the order and again when it was shipped, they also sent a video on construction. Great customer service – any questions and they respond within a day.My wife and I took four partial days to complete (we’re in or 70’s) and we took our time. Only hard part was getting the panels with the clips on them to go on without the clips falling off, another reviewer talked about using superglue gel and accelerator to attach the clips – that made putting up the panels a lot easer. Gazebo is very sturdy once bolted down to the pad. we are very happy with our Gazebo it will protect our spa from the weather and sun.

We purchased this gazebo early in the summer. I have to say, all the parts came on time. It was very good quality and with some elbow grease my husband and I were able to put this up.We are very pleased with the purchase and would recommend to a friend. Customer service was great, as we lost a part and they shipped it to us quickly. I give it 5 star!

Very DIY Friendly – very happy with the finished product!
First thing we liked was the price, we searched around and compared and happened to purchase during a sale I think since the price is more now, but still cheaper than most others we looked at for what you get. It arrived in 4 or 5 different boxes, which arrived fairly quickly and undamaged. However, we were getting a cement pad built and had to wait about a month or so before we could actually start to build our gazebo. It took us approximately 3 1/2 days to complete the build, but we probably could have done it in 2 or less if it were in the summertime. Unfortunately, it got dark pretty early, and it was cold, windy and we even had to deal with a little bit of rain, these factors slowed us down. Even though the directions are mostly pictures, they were pretty easy to understand and Purple Leaf sent us a video and messaged us right away to let us know they were available if we had questions. We opened up all of the different fasteners and put them in containers and labeled them. We built the basic square frame the first day and spent a bit of time lining it up where we wanted it, drilling holes in the concrete, and securing it to the pad. The next day we built the roof frame, and we were able to get the panels on the upper roof. Took a little finesse but once we got the nag of how they slid into place, the rest went in pretty easy. The only con would be the plastic clips that you put on the edges of all the panels, these slide on and off pretty easily and you have to very specific about where you put your hands when pushing the panels in place, or you push the clips off and then you have to slide the panels out to reset the clips and sliding the panels out knocks off other clips, haha, it was quite comical our first few panels. You get the hang of it after awhile of having to reset them lol! The rain started so we couldn’t finish much more. The next day we finished the roof with 25 mph gusts, that was a challenge. PRO TIP: the instructions tell you to put fasteners in after all of the roof tiles have been set. This makes it very hard to reach the upper center fastener for #6 on page 39, we read ahead and put that in before putting in the side roof tiles. Also, we were dealing with windy conditions, so as we put in roof pieces, we put #5 fasteners loosely about every other hole to ensure the roof pieces did not come off. We learned our lesson the hard way on the first side we did as 2 pieces went flying into our pool and we had to fish them out (another reason it took a bit longer). We decided to wait until the next day to put up the curtains and netting and do the final touches since it was not going to be windy. Viola!! We love it!

Damaged product impacts installation and can’t hide
The delivery team they used did a remarkable job with the delivery. When they delivered the package they put it where nobody could see it to steal it. In fact even I didn’t see it and only after I sent out a bad review did we find out where it was delivered.Great job on the delivery companyInstructions: I needed help with the top part on set and after that I did the whole thing alone in 20 hours. I followed the instructions and found whoever created them did a remarkable job overall. Easy to follow and great job on pictures.Quality: we picked this over everything else because we liked the looks and overall pretty good reviews. When I started to put the upper portion on k1 part number was bent pretty bed see pic. This made it very hard to get the metal sheets to fit. In fact I had to loosen everything before I could slide the pieces in.On one leg I found one nut plate missing see picture so I just put the bolt in for looks. We found 2 pieces that were pretty damage dented see pictures. When we put up the outer part number ya @ y1a I noticed a lot of places that the rain coating didn’t take or was missing. I should not see light coming through when all the curtains are closed but we doOverall the delivery team did a remarkable job but the quality of numerous items Kept me from giving the product a 5 start.I just finished setting it up will see how it holds up

12X18 PURPLE LEAF GAZEBO
I gave it a 4 stars, but…. So far we have had 2 torrential downpours and few days of rain. I have used silicon caulking to a lot of the bolts that are leaking. These bolts are along the top of the railing system, so I happen to feel along the top of the railing and felt water in some of these areas under the bolts. I have managed to caulk most of all the areas I noticed that were leaking from the bolts. One good thing is none but one of the top panel area has a small leaky bolt (once I find it, I will caulk it to see if it works). Other than that, all the patio furniture is dry which means so far no leaks from ceiling areas around furniture. I attached pics because the 12 x18 is a nice size. I was able to have 2 chairs w/ ottoman, 3 seat sofa, 4 seat patio table. TV & stand, and floor fan. You will need a fan especially when temps soar.I paid someone who has put several of these Gazebos together (which took 2 guys) to put it together and they finished in 7-8 hrs total to complete it. Purple Leaf customer service has been excellent responding to issues such as bent panels, ceiling hook that came off due to not being welded on, and slight snag in one netting. They even gave a credit for those issues, which I appreciated it.I will update after a few more rainstorms on how it is holding up. Would I recommend this, Yes even with a few flaws. Thanks Purple Leaf for your less than 24hrs responses, this makes a huge difference.UPDATE: Purple Leaf customer service is awesome with replying. After a heavy rainfall, I have to caulk more areas due to leaking. It’s more along the sides of the gazebo. I was sent a picture by Purple Leaf how to seal along the outer frame where bolts are with silicon caulking. Will try the caulking, but Worst case scenario if this doesn’t work I will be enjoy my gazebo during clear days and as long as my furniture doesn’t get wet. Do I still recommend it, yes but be ready to put in the extra work of caulking areas.

Excellent customer service
I just want to say Purple Leaf has the best customer service department I think I have ever interacted with. We received our gazebo in August but had not been able to build it due to having to rebuild parts of our home damaged by a freak storm. My husband had to show the mounting brackets to our contractor so they could know what bracing we needed on our deck. Well, they were placed somewhere never to be found again. I contacted purple leaf to see if we could purchase the plates. That was a Friday evening. They started communicating with me almost immediately. Today is Tuesday and the parts already arrived. They have kept in touch the whole time and have just been great. They have my business & a friend is looking to order a gazebo also. Great product & great customer service. And we start assembling tomorrow MORNING.THANK YOU, PURPLE LEAF!

Good Gazebo, Excellent Seller Support
Overall, this is a very good gazebo. I purchased the 10×14 double hardtop. The packing was very good. A couple of the upright posts had minor dents from shipping. Not bad enough to return it. Some of the bolts, about 75 pieces, were scattered in one of the boxes. I found the instructions in box 3 of 6. As for assembly, it was well engineered. I have put together a dozen different gazebos over the years. This was much better designed/engineered even though there were less than 20 words on the instructions. The ‘Z’ parts that are affixed to the angled metal roof panels are a bit of pain to keep attached during installation. You will need 2 people for 3 of the steps . . . attaching the perimeter to the uprights (early on), installing the peak of the roof (midway) and installing the roof panels (one of the last steps). The rest can be done by 1 person. The plastic curtain hangers for both the solid cover and the screen surround may need to be trimmed with a blade to ensure the curtains move freely in their tracks. There were extras for most bolts and hardware. I was short a few rubber blocks for the roof. The seller overnighted the parts from China via FedEx. Likewise, I mentioned the minor dents on the uprights. They asked for photos and then gave me a partial refund. The post-sales support was excellent. I would recommend Purple Leaf as a seller.

Great gazebo and even better customer service
First time purchasing a hardtop gazebo I was a little hesitant considering the price but decided to anyway and couldn’t be happier. This product shipped out almost next day and the seller had already reached out to me and has been in constant contact with me during the build of this product. I did have a couple pieces that were a little bent in delivery but nothing that detoured me from getting it down. I straightened out the piece with channel locks and everything went together fairly easy from there. Would definitely recommend this product and the customer support was the best I ever experienced.

Don’t fully tighten down anything until it is fully assembled!.
The hardtop Gazebo is very nice, and I enjoy it nightly. I assembled it myself. I have a few suggestions for your installation instructions. First, I was able to attach part M and N to B&C and D&E first, being careful to not bend them, then was able connected K and K1 to the M and N’s. This is how I was able to assemble the gazabo by myself.Next, I would add a role of tape to the parts list to tape all the Z products (Z, Z1, Z2, Z3, and Z4) to the V, W and X roof panels before installing them(I used Scotch tape). Using the tape made this step a whole lot easier after fighting with the first couple to stay in place while fitting in for installation.I was surprised that with such a quality product, you did not include some sort of nut caps or a slide down cover for the ¼ inch expansion bolts that extend through part L after anchoring it to the concrete.

Great Gazebo-
Arrived in multiple packages all on the same day. Packaging was very well marked with an inventory slip for that box. Each piece was well marked. Assembly parts very well organized in a compartmental box. Very impressed with how organized they start you off. Only one piece was drilled wrong but we were able to fix that ourselves. It was 3 days of assembly. Day one was a 1 man job. Would go quicker if he had help. Day 2. & 3 I helped my husband. It’s beautifull! We are so happy with the end result, Since ours went over a spa we assembled next to the spa then put Dollie’s on the 4 corners to roll it into its final place. So happy with our purchase!

READ BEFORE BUYING!
As a person who is skeptical about buying things like this off of Amazon, this is probably one of the best purchases I’ve made. Overall, it took about 2 FULL days to assemble. When it comes to the roofing, you will need 2 people. Once you get to the top assembly portion, weather the directions say to leave hardware loose, DO IT, this will save you alot of headaches later. Do not get your hardware mixed up or you will find yourself disassembling thing later as there are bolts very close in length. 10/10 would recommend. The only thing that would change my rating in the future is how it holds up in the Minnesota winters. Customer service from this company is some of the best I’ve experienced. Contacted me when the packages shipped, asked how installation was going, sent me videos and instructions before every thing arrived. Last recommendation I have is once you have all packages, open everything first to locate directions and hardware and to check on any damaged pieces if there is any! Hope this review helps anyone out there on the fence on buying this!

Great product and customer service!
Absolutely delighted with our new gazebo! Recevied the item in 5 days. Some of the boxes and parts had some damage but the seller was responsive in addressing any concerns. We purchased the 12×20 and were able to complete the assembly with two people and three ladders. The instructions are relatively easy to follow considering they’re mostly illustrations. The small parts and screws are clearly marked and neatly organized. The sleek design of this gazebo adds a touch of elegance to our backyard, and it’s the perfect spot for outdoor gatherings. I’m really impressed with the customer service I received and would highly recommend this seller and this product!

Very Good
It looks amazing. I had to pay a couple of people to come over and assemble it. But so worth it.

Quality is Key
We were looking for a practical permanent solution that would provide protection from the summer sun and pop up storms so that we could make better use of our new deck space. Our Purple Leaf 12 x 18 gazebo did just that. It is well constructed, a great value as well as terrific look that enhances our outdoor space. With enough help it can be easily erected but we chose to have a professional do that for us. The company has a great support team that reaches out to you through the delivery process so they know how they are doing and to see if they can do anything better. They show that they care about you and their product even after your initial purchase. A Great buy!

Nice! Fantastic Structure … Minus a few minor Mfr defects
We love the gazebo! Hubby needed assistance with the roof beams. Other than that, he built it himself. It took him 2.5 days (it was also 100 + degrees). 12 x 18 Purple Leaf hard top Gazebo. We just put it up – so no feedback on the weather. It’s sturdy! I know they say you can anchor it down, but where we have it – idk if that’s truly needed. Hubby says you need at least a 6-8 ft ladder for the roof panels (which he did himself). It has 3 hooks in the middle – we have a chandelier in the center right now, plan on getting the hanging plug in fans. Not sure if we need/want 1 or 2. The curtains (grey) come with the netting. Hubby says extremely easy to install (less then 10 mins). Minor manufacturer imperfections (see photos) such as sheet metal decorative painting issues? Idk – enough to annoy me a bit with the price paid, but definitely not enough to be an issue & raise a fit. Would love a discount Purple Leaf or a little something something 😅. Hubby also said that there was minor screw & bolt alignment issues, but he was able to get it done. The instruction manual was fantastic! It had step by step with idiot proof pictures – almost cartoonist! Don’t skip steps, follow it per the manual & you won’t have issues! Will update if we have issues. I did notice that Purple Leaf had a special on their website during the Memorial Day weekend for a free chair or something & we missed the special.. ended up buying from Amazon. Bummer I like free stuff. Anyway! It’s awesome & you won’t regret the purchase.
